Such a unique sandwich menu Ike's was founded in San Francisco in 2007 and now has 12 locations here in AZ. The sandwich menu is extensive with so many options that you're sure to find a new favorite for anyone. Their famous Dutch Crunch bread paired with the Dirty Sauce is a flavorburst combo. (The Dirty Sauce is a garlic aioli with a secret blend of seasonings and spices. Vegan Dirty Sauce is also available). "Every location comes with exclusive sandwich offerings that are eclectically named as a tribute to local celebrities and icons. Ike's Love & Sandwiches features sandwiches for all: meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free." Desert Ridge is my closest location (located near Pita Jungle and Sushi on Tatum). My favorite sandwich is the MILF which is: halal chicken, stuffed jalapeno poppers, buffalo wing sauce, and ranch. I love the Dutch Crunch bread, but there are other options: sourdough, french, whole wheat, and gluten free. An added bonus is a blow pop or Carmel apple pop with each sandwich. A vegan friend introduced me to Ike's and now I find myself craving it. I don't like to go to the same place too often, as I want to try new things all of the time, but I've lost count of how many times I've eaten at Ike's in the last 4 months!

I have found a new favorite restaurant! It's so nice to have so many vegan/vegetarian options. I highly recommend Ike's Pee Wee sandwich. I can't wait to try the others.

It was my first time going to Ike's I like places that are simple with great food. Ike's hits the mark The menu is easy to understand with a lot of variety to choose from. Nothing complicated like those fancy coffee places where you have to explain every ingredient you want. I like that. I had the Matt Cain. Great sandwich. I added Ike's to my yelp favorites so I'll be sure to go back again.

My wife and I stopped in today for lunch. We were met by a person who asked if we wanted to dine in or order take out. We responded that we wanted to dine in. The employee then informed us that they could not accommodate us because of an abundance of online orders. WHAT?!!! Needless to say we left without lunch. What kind of business turns away good paying customers? Whoever owns this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. Needless to say we will not be back.
Ike's is trying to do too much and doesn't do any of it very well. Cant recommend. The fried chicken in the fried chicken sandwich had the taste and consistency of microwave chicken nuggets. The onion rings were bland and soggy. More than half of that $30 meal went straight in the garbage.

Besides the super tasty sandwiches and amazing customer service, I love the message this franchise spreads on their bags and walls "love then sandwiches, we are here to make it ok for ourselves to be human, and make it ok for others to be human too"...I feel like these words are exactly what I needed to see these days.
