Not quite an East Coast diner experience but about the closest you are going to get in Phoenix. The food is high quality, prepared nicely and is served hot.Staff is very friendly and the place is very tidy.Try the corned beef hash and eggs it's very good.

Such a nice place to be. Pleasant, family welcoming atmosphere. No one bothered us or annoyed us. We met the owner Joe, who offered us his homemade jams and fresh biscuit and pancake samples. I love the small town local vibes. Baby friendly accessible as well. The food and coffee were absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to come back! I particularly enjoyed the kindness everyone displayed. Thank you all for a lovely morning!Kid-friendliness: Baby accessible for large strollers and big families.

My favorite breakfast spot in the valley. Their pancakes melt in your mouth. Great diner coffee. The owner, Joe, walks around to check on everyone and chat. Sometimes there's a wait to get a table but it's usually pretty quick.

After a few suggestions to try out Joe’s Diner today was the day! We enjoyed a delicious #2 with bacon sausage potatoes and scrambled eggs (which I immediately split in half for tomorrow) and hubs had the same with a pancake. He ate all his lol! The coffee was really good as well. About $50 out the door for us both. We’ll go again as it’s close to Midtown!

Good food! Very friendly owner, comes around and makes conversation with everybody. Classic diner experience. They have house made jams that our server brought multiple for us to sample- very delicious. Pancakes were so yummy, as was the rest. Definitely recommend!

I'll start this review by stating that the food is mediocre compared to lots of other places I've been to. Prices on the menu are also higher than lots of other restaurants. I used to work at Joe's diner and he would disrespect his employees as if it weren't a problem... Very unprofessional business owner! I recommend people give their business to other restaurants who respect they customers and employees equally!
