Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Kai Restaurant Kai Restaurant is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite dining destination. Gloriously fabulous (being restrained) One of the best restaurants in the United States, seriously. Exceptional atmosphere, creativity and presentation of the food; very accommodating. Price fix, and worth it!

My soon to be husband and I had a lovely Valentines dinner. We did the 5 courses with wine pairing and it was a great experience. They know food and had excellent taste in wine choices. Would recommend trying Kai for a romantic special evening.

Visited Kai on 02/10/24 for an early Galentine’s Day dinner. I have some dietary restrictions (lactose intolerance) and was contacted by the restaurant a few days prior to our reservation to confirm.Dylan and the entire staff made sure our experience was unforgettable. Even with my restrictions, I didn’t feel like I missed out on any part of the menu. I always appreciate it when a restaurant can make accommodations without making a big deal out of it.My girlfriends and I spent approximately 4 hours on our culinary experience between pre-meal cocktails, the 5 course experience, and plenty of chatting and laughing.Highly recommended for an elegant evening and for those who want to try unique menu offerings that you won’t find anywhere else.

Celebrated an anniversary dinner here. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations, from the sunset views and service to the wine pairings and food. Price is very high, but worth it for a milestone occasion.

Fantastic in every way. The food was phenomenal, every single dish carefully made from local ingredients, and the servers where well-versed in each of the stories we were so amazed at how beautifully the local native American culture was woven into each item. it was a Culinary delight, the wine pairings were pure perfection, and even very unexpected, for instance, there was a local wine from Arizona, that we would've never guessed, was from a vineyard in this part of the world It was an eye-opening experience about the indigenous, grains and foods, a beautiful lesson on culture in history, and the attentive servers brought every essence of luxury to our table. We will be back again, and again, this is One not to be missed!

From the moment my wife and I arrived we were treated to the pinnacle of hospitality. From the kind and warm smiles of the hostesses, to the soft spoken and extraordinarily talented bartender, to our infinitely engaging and knowledgeable server (Dylan), the caliber of service and unending pursuit for a pleasant experience knew no bounds. The only rival to the excellence of the service was the cuisine. Chef Drew and our server Dylan crafted and presented, respectively, a beautiful story tastefully showcasing local history and ingredients. The entirety of the meal was filled with artistic expressions and masterful use of flavors and textures to convey the overarching story rooted in the spiritual beliefs of the indigenous peoples in the surrounding areas. All in all, the experience was remarkable and my wife and I will be recommending Kai to anyone and everyone we can to share in the unforgettable time we had.

A special dinner that is unique with it's focus on indigenous ingredients and flavors. We had the 5 course tasting menu that included several additional dishes (amuse bouche, gelato palate cleanser, a bread course, chocolates following the plated dessert). The service was outstanding. A must try restaurant for a special occasion.

We were staying at the Sheraton Grand and were told Kai was one of the best restaurants in Arizona. We decided to try it out and had a phenomenal experience. They offer a 5 course pre-fix menu with a couple options and enhancements in some of the courses. The service was 5 star! No complaints. The detail from the art on the cover of the menu featuring Native American history to the many reflections to the heritage of the reservation throughout the experience was amazing. The food was inventive and super yummy. The standouts were the fried bread with cheese course, the signature dish with buffalo and oxtail, and the chocolate dessert inspired by the mountains surrounding the restaurant. The drinks were PHENOMENAL! We had a couple cocktails which were 5 star and did the wine pairing. We did not have one pairing that let us down- superb choices. I think the only thing I would change would be the carpet- it was a bit dated and with changing it to something a little more modern the restaurant would be even more beautiful. The other room for improvement was the surf and turf course- the lobster was great with bone marrow foam, but we felt the NY strip was a little tougher than our liking. Maybe if they paired with a filet mignon it may have worked better? Despite these small recommendations, if you are in the Phoenix area, Kai is a must try! They would easily be a one star Michelin restaurant. Can't wait to come back!
