Who in gods earth wrote a good review for this place? Supposed to be a coffee shop/cafe I googled coffee near me and this place had 4.8 stars so I said bet! Couldn't find it cuz it's in an office complex. Ok whatever. Go in there is nobody in there. Finally guy walks in and says what's up. My exact words \" I need a drink big and strong and sweet and cold\" he pointed me to the vending machine of bittled frappucino drinks. I was like \"no I mean I want to order a big coffee like a mocha iced or frappe anything\" \"No we don't have that.\" ? ? ? Ok then 'cafe' I'll see you later. This place is just a cafeteria for the workers of this building don't waste your time

This place is a nice clean place with that old neighborhood feel... the staff are very friendly the menu is nice.. the coffee selections are nice breakfast was good loved the waffles the lunch menu looks delicious...handicap friendly...it has that relaxing environment... no rushing...

So sorry as you both are lovely people, but to be honest, I was referring to the Reuben sandwich and pizza. The Reuben lacked in both size and quality of meat on the sandwich. (Most reuben's are piled high with real corn beef; this had maybe 3 slices of the deli-case, preserved type of meat that seems very low quality and tastes artificial.) The pizza was like a Frozen pizza from the Dollar store--just not what was expected for the price. (Bread dough is inexpensive to purchase; maybe even make a few homemade pizzas and freeze them, if they're not a big seller?)

I was driving down I 17 for a meeting at Deer Valley and 18th Ave and had 20 minutes before my meeting. I wanted at an Americano and something to eat. Yelp took me to a place off Cactus and I 17. This gem was in an office complex. The Americano was great and the breakfast sandwich was excellent. Never judge a book by its cover. They know how to make breakfast.

Lakeside Hideout Cafe is a hidden gem with a great menu selection, great prices and good company. Limited selection on fountain drinks but makes up for it with cooler drinks, coffee selections as well. Easiest way to get to them is the first driveway heading north and the entrance is right near after heading east.

Nice Menu Selection & Friendly Staff. Delicious food & lot's of Drink Selections (Try the old fashioned sodas). Tucked away location, but worth finding.
