Greg was our bartender and made us wonderful drinks! But the real star of the night was Melissa. She saw a problem and fixed it before it became more of an issue. THANK YOU MELISSA! We’ll be back for more!

Basement speakeasy at First & Last. Mostly an Amari bar with a large selection to pick from. As someone who hasn't tried Amari before, I was very reliant on our server for our flight. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy any of the options on my flight, as it was all randomly selected by the bar. I would've appreciated more inquiry on my taste preference, so that I didn't end up with Amari that taste like mouthwash, or a pine tree.

Alex was very welcoming and friendly, he made my visit great. I had the "Heavy Petting" Fernet Branca, Carpano Antica, lemon, cassis, and Fords gin. Smooth and well-balanced. Great place for a date night or ladies night. Nice music. Black & white movies playing. Just relaxing. For food they can grab you starters and sides from First & Last. I had the Crab in the bown butter with focaccia, while tasty, it was extremely rich and very heavy. The drinks and ambiance are the highight here! Bring someone special. Parking is available along the street, along the green space, and in the little parking garage. Lots of options. Some free, some metered. On a Thursday night I did not have an issue. Did not have an issue finding a spot inside either. Lots of seating.

Feels like a real speakeasy due to the small intimate space, dim lighting and steep staircase down. Not a large drink selection and hard to see due to the dim lighting. Not a spot I would stay too long but it was fun and romantic for one drink.

This cozy below ground level bar was lit for relaxation and good conversation. The bartender was experienced and very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. We also tried a few snacks like the Frite Street Fries and the crab arancini. They paired very well with our libations. This is a great little spot for friends or lovers.

I didn't want to write a review because this is the best kept secret in Phoenix! I visited LD's last night after a wonderful dinner upstairs and it was hands down, one of the best cocktail experiences I've ever had. First, the atmosphere is intimate, this is a great place to relax and just enjoy the company of a date, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, wife, etc. Cole was the bartender last night and I have to give him his flowers because he made the night! From the playlist to the perfectly mixed drinks, Cole was a whole vibe, truly and genuinely good person! I plan on making LD's a regular spot! Make a reservation for dinner at First & Last, then head downstairs afterwards, you won't be disappointed.

This place left a bit to be desired. I couldn’t really tell if it has a theme and it made it a bit underwhelming. The bartender was pretty darn good though. We have the gentlemen’s some flavor profiles and he came back with some delicious drinks. He’s the only reason this place deserves the praise.

Really wanted to enjoy this place because I like the upstairs bar and restaurant so much. But this place left a lot to be desired. Very, very small space and the seating arrangements don't allow for a lot of flexibility. Bare concrete walls and a metal roof are supposed to make it feel like a speakeasy, but then they ruin the effect with a TV on the wall. I'd rather the put more fabric hangings on the walls and ceiling to absorb noise. Even with a limited number of people in the place it's very hard to hear a conversation, so everyone is yelling, making the noise louder. The Amaro theme is tiring. They have so many delicious cocktails upstairs that would fit into the speak easy theme wonderfully, but instead push flights of amaro with limited cocktails, and those few cocktails don't taste great. While I was there, I watched a number of people come in, have a single drink, make a funny face and leave as soon as it was over. Also, it's not a great venue for having the bartender or waitress bring your drinks over and then give you a lecture about amaro and the different regions of the country where each drink was made. You're there to have fun with friends or have a cool romantic night, instead you have to nod your head and pretend to be able to hear anything they're saying and that you're interested while they drone on and on.Then they had a weird social media team in there, taking video and photos without asking if you minded being in their shots, and waving their LED lights around to get the perfect shot, ruining the mood.Could be a great space with a fun vibe, instead, really poorly executed and disappointing.

Stumbled on this space as we went to first&last for our anniversary and this space is bellow. No advertisements no frills just awesome. Hours are very much in flux as this is a space that can be reserved for any private event at anytime and the concept according to the managing staff is always in flux based on what they feel (even name can change) all that to say wow this space is highly unique and awesome. Any drink from above can be made downstairs but they also have their own unique drinks. Cole our bartender was amazing whipping up some deliciously strong cocktails for us that has us excited to make it back. If you are able to get here you will not regret it

This place is really great and intimate space. If you are looking a fun new experience for you tastebuds when it comes to cocktails! Staff is wonderful and well educated on Amari! Definitely a great new spot that you must check out after enjoying some food from upstairs!
