We went there thinking it was Mexican style food and it wasn’t exactly that . Loaded fries and tater totes aren’t typically what I would go for at a Mexican restaurant. I think there’s to much different things . Service was ok but the waitress or waiters didn’t know who got what and was all over the place . And the margaritas were subpar. Kinda a all around bummer .

Went there for a bite before the Azjazzfest 3/22/24. The service and the food was amazing. I’d love to go there again someday. We dined in.

Just stopped in for drinks, and, in the process, we ordered the nachos prior to going to the Arizona Jazz Fest down the street.Nothing fancy, the drinks are incredible, and the service is dope. The atmosphere is super chill and relaxed. The patio is nice and has great views of the bustling passers-by on High Street. There are lots of other establishments in the area to choose from, but you really can't go wrong with MM.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor accessible.

I would only go back here if I was looking for a place to get a drink and after our experience having dinner here, I wanted a drink... Very limited seating inside. Was self seating, which wasn't an issue because all the indoor tables were available except for one. Issue is that all of the other tables were very dirty with food. We sat down at the cleanest table and cleaned the food off ourselves. Parts of the upholstered booth were falling apart... Aside from that, the food and service was less than average. Waited for about 5-10 minutes until a server came up to us. The house salsa was actually really good. The chips were good too, but would have been even better if they didn't come out cold. I got a taco, which didn't have much flavor at all. My wife got the chicken tenders and couldn't take more than two bites because they were so bad. But I can't hold that against anyone, because I will never understand why she expects tasty tendies from a Mexican joint.

Aweful experience today. Took five min to get seated. Server came by one time. Had to get up to go ask for food order to be placed. Food never came, asked to be canceled and went next door. They were supposed to charge happy hour prices but charged regular price. Asked to fix and they still overcharged me (took $10.50 off is year of $13.50). Gave up and paid it. Went next door and watched from the patio where there were no servers the whole time and workers from modern margarita kept going to the parking lot and acting very oddly.

Saturday happy hour starts at 3pm with good discounts. The carne asada was tough and fatty, but the gringo tacos were much better. Frozen margaritas were good too.

Can’t rate the food because the service was so bad. Went on Sunday stood at the front for five minutes, made eye contact with the servers and they just kept chatting and never came, and yes they 100% saw us, they just didn’t want to help. Finally who I assume was the hostess came and sat us, we talked about leaving then and going next door but was like give them a chance. Saw they had all day happy hour, ordered so drinks apps and entrees. After an hour got 2 drinks and finally left. There were 3 servers and five total tables, so they weren’t busy, they were all sitting at a table in the back talking rolling silverware. We watched tables next door come in eat and leave before we could get a second drink. It was crazy how bad the service was. Like we had been there before and it was bad but this was like they literally just wanted you to leave. Went next door and it was fantastic, I really want this place to close so they can replace it. I used to be a server back in the day and these people wouldn’t last a week at Chilis. Look at the photo that I took from across the street (where we got food and drinks) and notice there are no servers in the photo, it was an easy photo to take because they were all in the back for 10ish minutes

More of a bar vibe than a restaurant. Music was blaring, drinks were expensive for what they were and the food was un-impressive. The atmosphere seemed fun but the service was absolutely terrible. Took 15-20 minutes to get a margarita when the place was not busy at all, and our server did not check on us throughout that time. Definitely room for improvement!

Eight years later was back for Saturday event. Best to arrive at 3pm when the Happy Hour starts until 7pm. The carne asada was fatty and tough to chew, but the gringo tacos (2 for $7) were better. Frozen margaritas were good as well.

The chips were amazing. Everything else was okay. We got seated right away, and service was good/timely, though on the verge of being a little slow (we ran out of drinks for example). The food is more expensive than you realize because everything is extra (like beans in your burrito) and each of those extras are like $5-10. And the taste/quality does match up to the cost, unfortunately. We got chicken nachos at $14 and the queso was cold and runny, and there was really nothing on it but chips, queso, chicken, and sour cream. My wife didn't feel good after, but I was fine (not sure if it was the food or not). It is bar atmosphere, tvs all around - so you may or may not like that. Lots of outdoor seating, very little in.
