I called this restaurant hours ahead of my event to ensure a banana pie would be ready for pickup between 6:30pm and 7. The person on the phone assured me it wouldn't be an issue. However, when I arrived at 6:40pm, I was told there was a "misunderstanding" and I'd have to wait 20-30 minutes. Terrible customer service ruins any enjoyment. Save your time and find another spot.

One of my favorite places to stop and pick up food or dine in on an afternoon. The Friday night specials are great. I usually get the slice of strawberry pie for dessert. It's a lively family owned restaurant that is packed to the gunnels on Fridays. Food overall is great and family portions.

We paid $43.00 for two meatloaf dinners ad a side salad. I was so excited I love mothers. Everything was fine except the meatloaf. The meatloaf was so disgusting. Dry it was like they didn’t add any meat to the breadcrumbs. It was horrible the worst meat Loaf I’ve ever tasted from a restaurant. Their meatloaf is usually so excellent .I threw it in the garbage can’t believe it. I was so let down not at all up to their standards. I’ve been eating there for years. Somebody needs to find the old recipe.

My mother's hasn't changed in decades. Same menu, same food, and alas mostly the same decor. It's is dark and dreary inside. The foods pretty good, prices reasonable, pies and breads excellent.

We stumbled across this gem when we were looking for something easy and satisfying after a really long travel day. It doesn't look like much, but it was perfect! Great food wonderful service and very reasonably priced! We are only going to be in Phoenix for a few days, but we will definitely be going back to My Mothers Restaurant!
