I had the pressed cuban for lunch with kettle chips and it tasted pretty good. The service was fine although I didn't head towards the back to cause problems with my order and everyone was friendly. I'm just a black tea guy and they had (I believe) cactus black tea. The tea was okay although I did get a refill. Would I go back...sure but the issue I have is I'm on the other side of town.

I've been here a few times. It always seems to be busy but love that you can grab a tag, sit down, and order and pay at the table. I've had the cold brew and banana bread latte (ordered it half sweet), both were super good. I like the eggs with prosciutto and mushrooms. It's very different than anything I've ever had. I keep wanting to get the bagel and lox and the ricotta pancake but have went back for the same thing both times. As well, I've had a couple of desserts. They were hit or miss for me. I had the lemon bar. The crust was amazing but the lemon (personal preference) I prefer more tart over being really sweet. The cheesecake was fairly good. The bagel the day I had it was very, very chewy and almost hard to eat (but still had great flavor). It's slightly loud which I don't mind. I worked here both times with no issues. I do plan to come back again.

We love having coffee dates here. Great vibes, great people great food. The terrible part about coming is that absolutely everything they make looks and tastes amazing so it's so incredibly difficult to decide what to get. Could be worse you could go to the same spot for the same thing and be boring. ;) Or you could go to OV and be an OG

I would say this is a hidden gem, but from how busy it always is, i believe it's very well known. Be aware if you come here on a weekend or you don't get here early, finding seating is difficult. The establishment is a little hole in the wall and has limited seating. There is an outdoor area with beautiful wall murals, but again still limited. When you walk in you are welcomed by the pastry selection, which is ever changing. Every item we have ever tried has been delicious. It's a nice place to run in and grab a quick treat. If you choose to stay you can find some excellent options. My number 1 and my forever personal recommendation would be the lemon ricotta pancakes topped with a blueberry compote. They are the perfect balance of citrus and sweet, outstanding fluffy, and taste fabulous. You will not be disappointed. If the rating was for these pancakes alone, then it would be 5 stars every single time. I give it 4/5 stars because if you want bang for you buck breakfast or good size portions, this isn't for you, if you want to go and not have to scramble and skillfully hawk around for seating, again isn't for you, if you desire excellent top notch specialty coffee, not for you. However, if you want a dinner feel, with a order and seat yourself vibe with excellent food then this is your spot. You should absolutely visit and give it a try, but just be aware that this isn't a walk in, be greeted, seated, and served type of place. If you want good baked goods and are a pancake connoisseur then come here!

Amazing breakfast!!! I ordered the Pork Chile Verde and I'm telling you... "out of this world"!!! This place is pretty popular so expect a line to get in, but the wait is so much worth it!!! This is a small place so seating is limited, so expect communal table seating. Overall, delightful experience. Warning: Park on the east side of the building! If you park on the west side, your vehicle will be towed!!!

We came in for a good breakfast and we weren't disappointed. We ordered their breakfast sandwich and the sunny burrito. The sunny burrito is popular at Ollie Vaughn's so my brother got that and he said it was delicious. The chorizo had a good kick to it. I got the breakfast sandwich with over medium eggs, added bacon as well. The sandwich was such a solid choice, and all the ingredients were fresh. I ordered the banana bread latte, it wasn't sweet enough to my liking so I added some sugar but it was flavorful. Ollie Vaughns has limited parking especially in the weekend, we parked across the street. Try not to park your car on the claimed parking lot near by, someone car got towed. Ollie Vaughns even has a sign warning customers. The sitting is first come first serve, and customers might have to wait if there are no open seats. The staff were awesome during our dinning experience. And also will definitely try to come back to try different menu items.

Came here for brunch and it totally blew my mind. I had the cast iron poached egg dish in shallot crème with prosciutto and mushrooms... incredible. My cardamom dirty chai was very good also. My boyfriend ordered the chile verde and banana bread latte and both were fantastic as well. Staff is friendly, good music and vibes all around. Definitely eat here!

Wonderful food! Staff is friendly enough. Love that they add plants to the restaurant. Adds a nice touch.

Must visit spot - be prepared to spend a bunch because everything is so yummy and smells/looks amazing. Tough choices ? but all worth every penny. Also I’m so annoyed for them that their neighbors tow but they have easy parking right across the street. Everyone was so nice and the vibe was perfect. Must eat place when you’re visiting Phoenix. Very cool outdoor area too

Wow is all I can say. I'm blown away by this place!!!! Absolutely insane. Best tuna melt I've had yet, that cast iron egg is also just so different and amazing. Can't wait to come back, I'll be dreaming of this place.

Ollie Vaughn's had some of the best breakfast in the Valley hands down. Their biscuit sandwich is phenomenal and any of their baked goods follow suit. It's worth going out of your way to give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed!

Good coffee, but as many other reviews mention, the food looks better than it tastes. After a couple of visits, I’m sure it’s not a fluke. The sausage gravy was disappointing too much pepper and lacked flavor at the same time, but the biscuit itself was very good. They don’t have a mastery of cooking eggs, this usually indicates the level of cooks on staff. Over medium eggs seem impossible for them to accomplish. Also there are A LOT of flies which indicates cleanliness problems. One important warning when eating outside, if you walk away from your food, the sparrows will immediately attack your plate. I watched a mans eggs get eaten while he was getting a fork, which you have to get yourself. They are so close to being good, also as mentioned they are too expensive for the quality of the product.

We drove from Scottsdale after seeing them on a top breakfast list. Will definitely be back. The muffins, the coffee cake really all the pastries were outstanding. Also had quiche I believe leek and maybe prosciutto it was excellent with perfect crust. My teen was leaning towards the brown sugar, espresso, and the gal at the counter did a good job of steering him away because it had no milk & warning him - She was spot on and suggested an alternative that he loved. We sat at the counter and watched everyone running from across the street because of the limited parking that's adjacent (I would say that's a little treacherous). All in, it's definitely on the list going forward!!
