Me and my wife while visiting Az in may 2023 we found this place and the food was delicious the staff and the owner him self was so friendly we are moving this year to southern Az and we are going back to OTTOs even if it's a little out of our way it's that good ?

I really wanted to like this place. I like frequenting little mom & pop hole in the wall diners but this place missed the mark entirely unfortunately. The coffee was coffee. When my husband asked for the biscuit and gravy the waiter said, "Oh there aren't any biscuits. There were none left over from the weekend." That was a red flag for me. The "hash browns" were more like thin sliced strips of potatoes that were quite greasy but I ate them because my entree wasn't what I expected. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was probably one of the saddest looking sandwiches I've ever had, only ate half. It was scrambled eggs with a weird sausage mound with mayonnaise. I should have read the description better because I definitely would have opted out of mayo. The waiter was attentive, the restaurant itself was clean, but the food is a no.

If you are to eat here, I feel like there are a few things you should know. The mop head that is used to clean the bathroom does not get changed, the same one is used to mop the hosts area. They are not instructed to change mop heads, nor is there a proper place to wash the mop. The rags being used to clean the bathroom, are all piled into the same bucket along with toilet brush, these rags are then used clean the bathroom, wipe down sinks, mirrors, etc. The bucket reeks of mildew. The plunger they use to unclog toilets is the same plunger they use to unclog their sink. The mysterious liquid butter bottles do not get thoroughly washed, the excuse is they do not have a brush small enough to get past the mouth of the bottle. Every time they go into the machine, the insides are caked in grease, and caked in grease when they come out. Percudido. Any time someone gets syrup in a metal container, that same syrup is poured back into the bulk to be dispensed to another customer. If you do not use your straw, it is taken back and reused. If a customer sits down to eat and doesnt use the other set of silverware, it is left there for the next customer to use. Ive been proudly told its been this way for 21 years without any issues. Okay.

I was very dissatisfied with my visit here. I used to frequent this diner and loved their food but it has changed substantially. The food was highly priced for such small portions. I ordered my eggs over medium, and they came out burnt. There was probably under 1 oz.of corned beef in my corned beef hash that cost 12. The hashbrowns were undercooked. No one checked to see how the food was or.if we were enjoying it. It was dropped on the table with the check. The girls were great about refilling drinks...I'll give them that, but for nearly 5 dollars a beverage I should hope that be the case. I will not ever revisit. I'm really bummed because this used to be a great bfast joint.
