I had an overall good experience. This rays pizza had the locally owned mom and pop shop to it, the restaurant was very basic inside which is ok, the service was outstanding cudos. Overall I enjoyed my experience, warm and welcoming team.

Absolutely the WORST pizza I have ever eaten in my life. I’d rather eat a Jacks pizza. Zero flavor the toppings are absolute garbage. For 24.00 for a medium. It better be AMAZING. It’s not.

Its run by a bunch of kids on their phones but I guess what else are you going to do as a kid working... the pizza doesn't quite live up to the Ray's name... just falls short of being excellent but it's still really good. Nice specials. Soda machine was down and they only had canned pepsi... which is a crime in my opinion. I'd eat hear again if I didnt want to drive all the way to Stevies lol

The pizza was freshly made to our order. Very tasty! We had small dinner salads as well and they were not small, also freshly made. Staff was very friendly and kind. Would order pizza here again!

You guys at the counter super cool The food is good but dang little prices are high. I got a sandwich of salad and a drink and it was $20. Just can't afford to eat anywhere anymore. This is lunch for one person. $20 is ridiculous.

Definitely disappointed, sorry Ray's but it's not New York style. Crust was the toughest I have ever chewed, a bit overcooked, dark brown on bottom of crust and crust too thick. Cheese was mostly brown bubbles which is also a sign of being overcooked. $18 for 17" cheese pizza and cheese was minimal. All you pizza places need to learn what New York style actually is before you advertise New York style, it's thin crust, not thin and crispy or just hand tossed. It's hand tossed and thin. By the way, New York style is also thin and X large, 17" is a small New York style pizza. Again Ray's, sorry, I wanted it to be good. Still looking for a good New York style pizza in Phoenix. Staff was friendly and polite.

Went there for slices of pizza and there was only 1 left. (I had school kids with me). They said they only have them ready at 5pm. They were not very nice or inviting. Gave us weird looks like we came from a zoo.

When it comes to pizza, our family is probably the pickiest people around. We make our own generally from scratch - from pizza dough to sauce. We have even put on our own home made Italian sausage. This pizzaria really makes a nice thin crust pizza. I was at a meeting that where the pizza came from this location. Get a group of serious die hard Italians, well, you can imagine. So from time to time, I will do a carry out order. It is very small so you could not necessarily bring a group there, but it's well made. So depending on your needs, it might be the place for you. We don't generally select different types of pizza other than the Pepperoni and/or Cheese. The crust is crunchy, thin and tasty. Let's face it, is the dough along with good toppings that make the pizza! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to do a take out. Buon Appetito.

Ok I am from New York and I love rays Pizza but not all are the same. This one is run by a nice family but the portion sides are horrible compared to the rays down the road. I ordered the hot ham and cheese and got a sandwich with 1 slice of ham for $10. Down the road 3 slices not rocket science it's in the name of the sandwich. I would expect 1 slice if I was getting an Italian combo. I will no longer be spending my money at this Rays.
