But still same great taste and atmosphere. Just left there now with the worst service ever. Asked for a table for 2 and they handed me a menu to go only it seemed. But when I asked if it was only to go she said “to-go? Oh. Ok.” As if she thought we were dining in but never offered us a table. The food is disgusting. And the service was just horrible there. Didn’t even get the order correct. I will never be back to this restaurant again. Unless the old owners come back. Very disappointing experience on this phoenix trip.

My husband and I wanted to get some Chinese food, and we loved this place before it changed ownership. So we stopped in on the way home to try it for the first time with new ownership. We walked in behind another couple; they sat them, then came and asked us how many. We said two, he looked at us and stated we are completely booked for the night. There were over 10 tables free, and only Asian people seated at the other tables. I feel that they don't want, "non Asian people" in their restaurant.We will not be visiting them ever again, nor will we be referring them to anyone.

So I wanted to try a new restaurant and since this is down the street from my house I thought it'd be perfect. Through Yelp I went to their website and they offered to order online. I order online everything I wanted. I waited for the time requested as they sent me an email saying they received my order. They charge my card and when I came to the establishment it was closed and no one to answer the phone. Never trying this place again.

The person working the front was nice. She kinda looked confused about what her job is. We waited a while and then finally went up and ordered our food at the host stand. The soup was OK. I had the egg drop soup and it was OK I guess and my husband had the miso soup and it was terrible. His orange chicken was OK and I got the broccoli and beef and it was so slimy I swear I ate a slug. So needless to say I did not eat. The atmosphere is a no good. Needs music or something. I literally had a panic attack and we 0aid and left. I will never return there again

Got the wontons tasted like wierd oil and soggy .2 plates of sweet and sour chicken soggy and what ever oil they use soaked . Beef spare ribs were rubber and gross. Register lady didn't even know what pints or quarts are? Threw it all away wouldn't even give to.my dog. Spent 50$

I came here with my group of 21 people. We have a lunch coordinator who finds us places to eat. We are retirees, and volunteers too! Our coordinator was very excited to have a new place for us to eat that was close to the freeway(I-17) and more centrally located. She contacted the owner/manager, explained what our needs were and that we have a budget. She was assured by the owner/manager that he could work with our budget. She also made sure it included tip. I believe this was not communicated to the staff. The part of the restaurant that we were in had a short wall. There was ONE person to be the hostess/cashier/waitress/server!!!! ONE person! Once she got our orders and started serving, she was not able to get food to us in a timely manner. NOT HER FAULT. The food was meh.. There is no ambiance, the bathrooms desperately need work, and again... the quality of the food was not up to par. I don't think we'll be back.

Decided to try this place yesterday.It was TERRIBLE!!! Hot and sour soup was warm and had hardly any flavor. The sweet and sour pork was served warm with room temperature sauce on the side. I needed more! It should have been served hot and covered in sweet and sour sauce. Spring roll tasted funny.Nothing tasted fresh ! Even my iced tea had no flavor! I ordered a Pepsi instead. My friend ordered the orange chicken lunch special and it was also not hot enough.I remember when this place was called Shangrala and it was nice.Please do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS!This has to be the WORST Chinese restaurant EVER!!!

Took a friend to lunch at Shinme today. I had not been here before and thought it would be nice to try a new place. Boy...were we happily surprised. It was fantastic. The food was all beyond delicious. The employees were helpful, friendly and on the ball. Got to meet the chef and enjoyed talking with him. Very nice people. The prices are extremely reasonable especially for the portions. My friend and I each ate lunch here and took home the rest for dinner tonight. Did not try the sushi but I'm certain it's just as delectable as our meals were. We'll be going there again, soon. If you like Chinese food, be sure to check out this great place. You won't be sorry!!!
