“Came here for lunch and tried the chicken tenders, greens, mac and cheese, and fried pickles. The chicken tenders were big and crispy, which I loved. The greens and mac and cheese were good as well. The food was pretty hot, but that just means it's done fresh.“
“The food here is AMAZING! You wouldn't expect it from the small restaurant, but the menu packs a punch. The brisket is amazing, the oxtail dinner is definitely a must, and take your pick of their sides-- you won't be disappointed. Definitely on my list of top 3 BBQ places in “
“So, I tried Missy’s for the first time last week as I’ve always wanted to try it out. Needless to say after trying it last Tuesday, my entire work team got it for lunch Thursday. The wings are next level. You can tell they make their own batter for the wings. And all their sauces are made in house as well. The ranch is phenomenal. Steak fries, hush puppies, all of it. Top notch.“
“Always good to eat there. Ate there since they was a small spot and now blown up. But the original spot is the best by far atmosphere and all. Food is worth the wait. You like chicken and waffles then spot by and get a belly full. Thanks, Lo-Lo's always satisfied when we leave.“
“I LOVE this bar!! It is an American Legion, the restaurant is located behind the pool tables. The food is AMAZING!!! The staff are really nice, the drinks are great, music and atmosphere are amazing. We went on Tuesday, which is Line Dance lesson Night (start at 7 pm) the fried green beans are my favorite everyday side. On Sundays they serve the best Mac and cheese in the city!!! I bring all of the relatives, friends, and visitors here to enjoy Sunday Funday!!! It is adult fun but family friendly.... if you have adult children. I have NEVER seen children here so idk of they are allowed. I know it is 21 plus after 5 pm.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the building, parking lot, and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible“
“The only thing is differentiating happy hour liquor from well liquor. I ordered a well drink and it turned out it wasn’t a happy hour price. Well liquors at any restaurant are considered happy hour prices. I paid $5 for one gin and $8 for a well gin. If I had known, I would have purchased the $5 Gin other than that I enjoyed my experience.“
“I love that Angel's Naijinp cuisine represents the rich Nigerian flavored.in Phoenix!. Coming from New York where you can get any type of food at any time, it is refreshing to see the ethnicity out here. The owner Angel , is welcoming and so warm. She allows people to sample before they buy. If they are new to this type of palette. The restaurant is small and cozy and reminds me of one of the personal restaurants in NY. Only. It's on the streets of Phoenix 😁“
“Our experience at "Momma's Soul: Fish and Chicken" was exceptional! We indulged in their famous shrimps, both fried and tossed in Buffalo sauce, and they were absolutely delicious - perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. Alongside, we tried the fried okra and mac n cheese, and even though I'm not usually a fan of mac n cheese, I must admit theirs was outstanding! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself had a spacious and clean ambiance. As it's soul food, expect a bit of a wait, but trust me, it's well worth it. If you're pressed for time, there's always McDonald's, but for a truly satisfying meal, "Momma's Soul" is the place to be.“
