Huge variety of sushi and rolls ranging from $2.75 to $5.50 each. Most are $2.75 and $3.75.

the only caveat is to pick the time you go..i went and all of the premier fish was on green/yellow plates... i have learned that if they are working on getting rid of fish they dont want theyll put it on blue plates.the price compared to others is bar none if its not Teharu.

I went for my 3rd time on Sunday, 10/22, with my daughter. I prefer Kiku (better rolls and flat pricing) off the 101 & Union Hills, but they're closed on Sundays. Teharu in North Scottsdale and O2, north of the 101, on Cave Creek Rd are also better options. This was my first time eating out in awhile and I was sorely disappointed. From the time we sat down to the time we left, this was the worst dining experience I've had in awhile. I had to ask where our server was because we hadn't been acknowledged after seating. He (Br*ce) finally came over, took our drink order, forgot one of the drinks, came back, the soda was flat, and he never came back once to check on us. In fact, I never saw him again, at all. I flagged down the same girl (Adr!ana) who helped us the first time, and she profusely apologized, comped our drinks and gave us a discount, as well as "to go" drinks. Apparently our server was new to serving, was on a break, and told no one to tend to his customers. Which is funny because he wasn't even tending to them while "on the clock". The older Asian woman stopped by while Adr!ana was getting our check & drinks and I told her that our server had not been helping us and she just said "he's on break". Yeah, not my problem. After all of that, I found the sushi to be lackluster and overpriced. I will not be back. I got lots of excuses and not much apology. Adr!ana was the only light in that place. She deserves a raise and promotion, management. She got the tip, her non-existent coworker, did not.

Everything was subpar. Service was slow. Experience was underwhelming. I have enjoyed the beef selections in the past and these were not it.

We hadn't been back for many years, the change of ownership, pandemic, etc. But after several years, we decided to return. It was just as great as we remembered it, except really crowded on Friday. That's great it's crowded, that means the food rotates often. The number of selections were very good as usual but this time there were not as many raw fish plates as they were before so you had to wait quite a while before the raw fish would get replenished. There were a lot of rolls and other odds and ends items like egg rolls, desserts, apple juice, etc.All of the fish plates we had seemed fresh, and were not fishy smelling. The small cheesecakes were delicious as well as the tiramisu. Most of the raw fish plates were in the $3.75 green plate category. We ended up eating quite a bit. And I had 16 green plates and a handful of other colored plates. I also had an iced tea which was delicious and they refilled it often. My total was $93 before tax and tip. And I did not feel overstuffed but I was satiated. The other person who came with me probably only got half as many plates and a soda and he seemed to enjoy all of his plates as well. The only thing that I was uncertain about is the clam sushi because I didn't know if it was cooked or raw and what it was supposed to taste like. It was quite chewy and I did not like it uncooked so I did not eat the second piece.Overall excellent place clean and great service. The only thing we would ask is for more raw fish and sushi on the conveyor belt at a time so we wouldn't have to wait as long for them to come around. Although you may see a few bad reviews overall the restaurant continues to do well and have overall high reviews by many many people even after changing ownership and luckily surviving the pandemic.

Lively place! And abundance of food selections for a revolving sushi place. And the rolls wasn't bad. I ordered off the menu as well. I tried a dish of lo mein, which was great! The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. I would visit again!

The food just tasted bad. Honestly I like sushi I go to a lot of sushi places. This one was actually very mid at best. I'm really impressed that it has four stars.

Thomas T.

The sushi there was mid at best but the customer service was good. Probably won't come back because this was a one and done experience. Don't go here if you want quality sushi.

The food was very mid but it was a great experience if you never been to a place like that before and the customer service was great

So, I made the mistake of going o sushi tokoro today. It was 11am, and the place was empty, except one table. I told the guy it was just me and, he told my I could only sit at the bar, which I didn't want. So, I asked for a table, and he told me no, I could not sit at a table, because it was just me. I couldn't believe it. So I told him that was the wrong answer, ant that he lost a customer. Sushi tokoro is basically gas station quality sushi, and certainly doesn't merit that kind of treatment of paying customers, especially when there are so many high quality sushi competitors in the immediate area, with out a bunch of homeless people near the entrance. Do not bother with this place, they're garbage!

This was the most disappointing experience at a restaurant I've ever had. The customer service was almost nonexistent. We had to ask one of the cooks to take our order! But worst of all, the food was HORRIBLE. Every single thing we ate was cold and soggy/mushy. Usually sushi makes me feel satisfied, but this sushi made me feel bloated and gross. I'm honestly surprised that this place is usually busy. I don't even know why anyone would eat here more than once.

Went there for lunch on my birthday was eating a Vegas roll when I discovered someone's hair was in the sushi deep fried with it and then looked around and noticed not one person had hair nets.. won't go back again.

revolving sushi bar (think conveyor belt where you sit and the food comes to you!)- awesomeness. come off the street, pick a table, sit, eat - done. no fuss, prices are color coded. hot green tea or beer, you call the shots. sushi without the pretension.
