Stopped here for a pre-dinner drink and appetizer and had an amazing experience. Very friendly employees and yummy food. The lychee martini was so good we got a second round and then enjoyed some desert as well.

Thai Basil was a nice spot to visit as I await the traffic to die down before my journey home after work. The food was delicious. I tried the spicy noodle. I chose 3 (out of 5) for my level of hotness. The dish did not disappoint. They have a full bar as well. The staff were all pleasant, and the facility was clean and comforting. I had a window seat, which was nice. There's both street and garage parking nearby.

* resolution pending. I will update…DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS STORE. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TWICE.I ORDERED AND PAID ONLINE AND WHEN I WENT TO COLLECT THE ORDER THEY SAIDI HADN’T PAID.I had ordered. Penang beef curry, chicken satay and mango dessert (total $39). When I went to collect it from the store they said I needed to pay them $32 which was the order minus the dessert that they didn’t have.MASSIVE SCAM.

Great atmosphere since you can see people walking through the city from the inside- lots of windows. The taste was fantastic too. Pineapple curry was delicious. Their thai tea will make you go for seconds.

If you're considering eating this food, just put some white rice and carrots in a steamer and save your money. I got the most tasteless fried rice I've ever eaten... no seasoning or sauce, I don't even think it was fried. Lol The service was also bad, they never took our drink order and only came to our table ONE time to take our food order. No checking in and no giving us the check. We had to ask another server to get our check. I overheard another table complain that they didn't get drinks either.

Food was good but won't comeback to eat in though, because of the bad attitude from the pregnant cashier or what it seems to be the manager or owner but she was nasty to us and to the table across as well. This was back in august, today I had an order to go and the food was wonderful and the employees were nice.Parking: Not a lot of parking spots around but there a paid parking garage and had plenty of spots

The stellar reviews brought me to Thai Basil and I can see what all the hype is about! I ordered chicken Pad Thai, spice level 2 and an order of mango sticky rice. I ordered take out and the gentleman who took my order was very friendly. I was surprised at how large the portion of Pad Thai was but then I realized they have lunch portions as well as dinner portions and maybe I needed to specify I wanted the smaller one so just be aware. Flavor-wise I’m very pleased with the Pad Thai, although next time I think I’d get a higher spice level and specify I want the smaller portion. Total I paid $27 which seems a bit steep for Pad Thai and mango sticky rice, however, I love Thai food and will definitely return to try some other favorites!

Food was tasting good until my daughter noticed a bug crawling in my plate of thai Rice with lamb. Told the server and he said it was a fruit fly but when he picked up my plate to examine the small roach...it just ran up the spoon and back down to the plate. He asked if I wanted something else and an absolute no followed. They only took that plate off chech and apologized. Everyone else was disgusted and stopped eating. I paid for my daughter's half eaten meals and left. I'm pretty disgusted in Thai Basil signatures downtown. Dine at your own risk.

Great lunch spot. Super reasonably priced. Excellent & attentive service. I ordered the BBQ pork w/o rice or veggies & it was exactly what I needed. 3 small portions of BBQ pork but the perfect size for lunch. It wasn't too loud when we came in so we could easily hear each other at the table. Would definitely recommend & will definitely come back.
