I will caveat this by saying we did come in with limited time, that being said based on this experience I cannot recommend this place. First it took like 5 to 10 minutes to get the beers we ordered after sitting down, it wasn't really busy there were several empty seats at the bar and a few empty tables. Next the waitperson never wrote down our orders and we did have special requests nothing crazy just one burger with bacon added and the full order of wings split with 2 diffrent flavors. The food took about 20 minutes to come out and thats ok i guess but really 3 burgers and an order of wings shouldnt take that long when not that busy. Burger was missing the bacon and they gave me the wrong flavor wings (I asked for buffalo and got firecracker which were way hotter than i wanted to eat at the time). There was really no time to send it back since it took so long to get it initially. Honestly breaded wings suck anyways. I am not sure if our waitperson dropped the ball or if the kitchen messed it up. Either way not a good experience.

Place was not full but service was not good AT ALL. The lady was clearly not happy to be there. I just did not leave because we had more people with us.Also the coke zero was awful. Tasted really bad.

This place is great. Claire is a superstar and Nick is also awesome. Food is fantastic. Pizzas are a top favorite of any pizza place and the fries were incredible. Anytime I'm in Phoenix I will go here. Claire's old fashioned is great. Has a nice twist to it. We went twice within a week. Place is clean and enjoyable to sit and hang out.

I’ve always had a great time coming here and the pizza is always fantastic. The location is great and is super easy to walk to from any part of Downtown. I appreciate their happy hour and I usually like to go before 7 as this place does get popping towards nighttime. I do appreciate that they recognize the locals who live down here!

I had their burger at valley bar downstairs and listen people: I'm not just saying this because when I bit into the burger grease slid down my arm and we became one, but this might be the best burger in the world. I got the double subbing onion for bacon and holey crap was it good! The sauce, the grilled flavor of the burger, the bacon, all of it exploding with flavor. I think it took me aback because this was my first meal in phoenix and I thought eh it's a bar I'm sure the burger is good enough. I think as blown away from first bite. I ate the whole thing and fries and I'm a person that never finishes a burger and never orders fries. Would love to check out all their burgers maybe try the onions next time!
Nicholas was such a coolio bartender for my cousin and I. He knew his alcohol which I appreciate from any bartender. Yeah Valley Bar is coolio but if uou want an honest good time without all the hype, visit this bar. Great service.

Very cool spot - Tim was great and the food was really good. Highly recommend the white lie pizza and the garlic bbq wings.

It's a good hole in the wall place to grab a bite and a drink. The staff is very nice and quick to help. I had two reasons to take a star off. The pizza is good. It would be better if they found a way to cook it without burning the hell out of the ingredients. The flavor of the pizza is quickly taken away by the amount of burnt flavor you get in the same mouthful. If you look at the picture you can visually identify that half of the pepperonis are just burned. I expect better for a 30 dollar pizza. I also ordered a beer and there was an obscene amount of foam on top of it. Most anyone who has been at a brewery would return this or not serve it. I didnt want to be a jerk so I just took it and moved on

2nd good experience here. Service has been great. Drink selection is aplenty. Pepperoni pizza, Detroit style, with the cup pepperonis hits the spot after a night of drinking. Décor is cool with the portraits of all the liars lining the wall. I will be back again when I am in the area.
