Iv fallen in love with this little pizza shack. It's just across from my house and it has an interesting crust it's like a doughy cracker. I always get the meat lover add pineapple and it's sooo good. The sausage is spiced so good and the chunks of bacon can't be beat. Delicious.

were really excited to try this pizza, but were disappointed to find that despite fresh toppings, the pizza itself was strange. the ends were crisp, but the dough separate between an overcooked portion and an undercooked portion which resulted in a really dry and hard to swallow bite- even though the pizza itself was thin. not sure what happened, but I don't think I'll be giving this another chance.we paid 23 bucks for an extra large with 3 toppings. we dont feel it was worth the price.

The best way I can describe this pizza is the barely edible slice you might be served at a roller rink. It’s really a shame because the location is wonderful and very cute but unfortunately I won’t be back. Eat here if you’d like a solid brick in your guts for a minimum of 24 hours.

This pizza is so good every time we are able to eat it. But it's super frustrating that the hours posted are not accurate and it's a hit or miss of when the pizza shack is even open. Friday night at 6 30 and closed? Why? Is there a way to better communicate your hours?

Had delivery last night. Pizza had almost no sauce on it. Other toppings were yummy and plentiful but it looked like someone had rubbed a tomato on the crust. Maybe it's just me but I like some sauce on my pizza!

My wife and I have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years. This place is one of those hidden gems that is easily missed and obviously has been missed. It wasn't too long ago we were traveling down 16th Street and my wife spotted the simple sign behind another building.. it just said, PIZZA.She said look, and just like that we passed it up. We don't eat out much anymore because prices are so high, attitudes of the employees absolutely stink and the quality of food seems to have gone down and most of us are just simply used to it without remembering what it used to taste like. There's such a lack of passion in serving others anymore so therefore, we stay at home most the time and make our own meals. We just recently had and are still going through a life-changing health event and out of the blue, my wife said... I want pizza. Well that's a shocker! It was 30 minutes before the pizza shack closed and I made a quick call. The lady on the other line was so kind and excited rather than cranky that they were going to have to make a pizza right before they closed. I placed my order and we got there within 10 minutes. We were a few minutes early so I had time to chat with her and found out that her and her husband were the owners. Such a nice couple with a passion that has been missed for so many years. Now to the pizza...The last time I had pizza this good, we were in Mamaroneck, New York and we stopped at the small joint that had quite a few people in it. There are a bunch of pies pre-made in a case that looked like a butcher's case. This is one of those places that you better tell them what you want right away or you don't step up to the counter. I made that mistake, I had to quickly point at something so I pointed at a salad pizza which looked really weird. But, it was the best pizza I've ever had in my whole life. That excitement has been gone for a very long time until tonight. We didn't order a pizza tonight that had loads of toppings on it. We simply ordered an extra large thin crust cheese pizza. It was the bomb! It was simple, it wasn't over flavored, the crust had touches brown marks on the bottom and flaked away into a softer portion in the middle and then you hit the sauce and the cheese. I'm not sure how it happened but we only have two slices left so I put them in a vacuum sealer bag and popped them in the fridge so we wouldn't lose any flavors.Sorry, no pictures but I think you should try the place. Don't go crazy with your order, keep it simple and enjoy it.Well, if you successfully read all that then you have no excuse other than to give them a shot. It was only 16 bucks for an extra large pie. It was delicious!

I have never been into the store can't rate inside but can rate the food. I order pizza wings and cheese bread. First things first the cheese bread is criminal and needs to be taken off the menu it's legit nasty ?. It's just like worse pizza crust with cheese that's it . The pizza is actually worse than a good little Caesars or food dominos pan pizza . The wings are large but very generic and lack flavor the ranch was decent . I don't see any reason to order from here so unless the atmosphere and service makes up for the very low quality food I don't see a reason to go here.

Not sure about some of these 5 star reviews because we ordered a pepperoni/sausage pizza and wings. Would have been better off getting a frozen pizza from Fry's. This pizza looked nothing like the pictures, pretty skimpy on the toppings and the sauce was bland. Crust was okay at best. "Medium" wing sauce was too spicy. We were extremely disappointed and won't go back. I love supporting local but not in this case. Friday evening around 6pm and nobody else was there. Should have known...Good luck!

I wanted to like this place badly. The shop is cute, great seating outside and service was helpful; unfortunately, the food lacked taste. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and cheese bread, neither were good.

One of the best pizzas ever. The thin crust was perfect, great amount of cheese and sauce, pepperoni was plentiful and covered the pizza! Generous portions of everything! Very friendly and welcoming, 10/10!!!!

First time ordering. The reviews showed 4.5, so I gave it a try. Pizza was hot and the ingredients were fresh, but the crust was hard and very chewy. Difficult to eat and not much flavor. We got a variety of pizzas and garlic cheese bread. Not too enjoyable.

Pizza Shack has become our goto pizza place. Great people, great pizza. The crust is excellent, but not your typical cracker crust - it's chewy and al dente. Sauce and toppings are great too. So glad to have a REAL pizza place in the neighborhood.

The pizza crust had a tough, leathery, consistency. I really wanted to like this place, but the pizza was nearly inedible, sparse cheese and sauce. Not enjoyable to eat at all.
