Overall good dining experience. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. The bread came out with Parmesan on the side. I didn't know why oil/vinegar was on some tables, but not ours. I asked the waitress why the bread only came with Parmesan and we were informed it already had seasoning. I went and found oil/balsamic vinegar on my own (as dry seasoned bread with Parmesan was not doing it for me). We had shrimp scampi to start. I had the lasagna, which was good. My wife had the linguine del Mariano. We both enjoyed our meals. They brought out a couple shots and a slice of cheesecake on the house for our anniversary. It was a nice compliment to the meal. One of the waiters sang in Italian for special occasions if desired. We would recommend this restaurant.

Context: Party of 3, all of us being 20 years old. We had a reservation at 6:45 and got sat immediately which was awesome. Got our water and bread within minutes. We then didn't see our server for 10 minutes but no big deal because it was busy. He took our drink orders (2 coke's) and didn't return for another 10 minutes. Didn't say a word to us when dropping them off. We wait another 25 minutes for him to come back and finally take our food order. THEN, we wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. Within this 1 hour and 10 minutes, I had to flag a busser and host down twice to refill our waters and we also saw other tables around us being served quickly. When we finally received our food... it was cold. I got up and found the manager explaining what happened and that I was not comfortable paying for this and she quickly heated up our food and gave us another half entrée. Glad the manager was able to help. We finished our food after 15ish minutes and waited another 20 minutes for our waiter to clear our plates and give us the check. We had been at this restaurant for almost 2 hours at this point, our food came out cold, we had to flag people down for WATER, and our server was rude. No discount. I go find the manager and she comes over and I explain to her again that this is not okay and she offers 15% off and I tell her that's not acceptable and she says the lowest she can go is 20% (I am a waiter and know that a bill can be adjusted any amount) and we agree on 20% knowing that there will be no tip. She brings back the check immediately and we then spend another 10 minutes waiting for our server or anyone frankly. After those 10 minutes we left cash on the table to cover the bill and left. Worst experience in my life.

This is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. Our go to place for any kind of celebration, and also for a week night meal. The food is excellent and consistently so, the staff is exceptional and you will be serenaded beautifully for an anniversary, birthday or other celebration. The pasta is the best in Phoenix in my opinion and I've lived here 70 years.

This was my second time visiting and it was delicious, yet again. Both times I've been here, the staff is incredible, the food is amazing and the place is so cute. I highly recommend. This time my sister and I shared the escargot, she has the veal Marsala and I got the seafood special, then we shared a creme brulee. It was all perfect.

This place was really great. The service was good and the food was excellent. The calamari in red sauce was amazing. That appetizer could have been a meal. Maybe the best calamari that I've ever had. I thought the prices were moderate. We had two appetizers, two entrees, four glasses of wine, and dessert for two. With tip, our total bill was $208. I was expecting more. I had the veal, which was really good. Next time, and there will be a next time, I am getting the red snapper like my friend. She would only share one bite!Parking: Parking can be tight. My reservations were for 8 pm. That is prime dining hours. We were there for three hours.

This is probably my 10th time being here. Everything is great from when we come into the front door into the main dining area. It's a very cozy and intimate environment. The staff is amazing. Everything went exactly as it should have. I love bringing people here for the first time. It's a wonderful overall experience.
