While in town for a business conference, I decided to explore the North Phoenix area for vegan food options. I stumbled upon what I would describe as one of the best taco salads yet (chef Will's special). Each bite was flavorful and refreshing. Although I'm not usually inclined to eat sweets or chocolate, the beignets I tried were good well-crafted and delightful. Vegan and Vine didn't disappoint in any way.S/O to the Chef Will and the entire staff

The entire staff was super helpful and kind. Our waiter (forgot her name) was absolutely lovely. The owner (which is also the chef) came up to our table and asked our opinion on the food. We got into a conversation about the taste, quality, etc and the passion that came out of this man’s mouth was inspirational. He loves what he does and he’s proud of it! I had the vegan cheese burger and man!! That was super good! It tastes just like a smash burger!! Try it! You won’t regret it.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options!

We went to celebrate my brother's birthday. Service was excellent, we really enjoyed taking to our server. The food was for the most part good. We liked the pizza and veggie sandwich most. The tofu bites however were bland and not as described w/the sauce they were served with. We did not like being charged for refills of iced tea. The server apologized for not disclosing that refills were at a cost and i said ok, but I'm still at a loss as to why they charge for something so inexpensive as brewed iced tea. I suppose the menu probably didn't specify either way if refills were free. Now I know to ask in the future. I just have not encountered this anywhere else. I definitely don't want to seem petty, it was just a surprise and bummer.

We found this little gem on our way to Sedona for a family vacation. We are a vegan family with a picky 11 yr old daughter! Everything we ordered at Vegan & Vine was outstanding. The grilled cheese & tomato soup was my daughter's favorite! (We came back and had it again on our way back to the airport.)I loved their breakfast sandwich and Mac & Cheese... my husband loved their salads - and their fried Tofu appetizer is WOW! I could eat that every day. Perfection. The service was friendly and efficient, and the owner is a ray of sunshine! We wish there was a place like this in L.A.!

I liked that there were 2 outdoor seating options (in the sun or shade). I emailed V&V twice with no response so am posting here. My comments are from a dine in experience last month.I came in shortly after 1pm on a Sunday and wanted to eat breakfast (my favorite meal). Here is a recap of my experience:I entered the restaurant and was the only person in line to eat. The employee behind the counter was on the phone. The server (who owned the goats) was on the floor. I waited for almost five minutes before I was acknowledged as a customer. I asked the server about breakfast and learned the menu finished at 1. Breakfast hours/information were not listed on the website to plan accordingly.I asked the server abt the goats and was told they are hers and she brings them to work occasionally. As an animal lover, I welcomed them. As a customer, I did wonder about the hygiene of having animals inside a restaurant. I informed her that I would use the bathroom and dine in the sun outside. After using the bathroom, I sat out front. Ten minutes passed without any employee interaction. I returned inside and spoke with the other employee (initially on the phone when I first walked in) and said I was waiting for service. He apologized and returned to the table with a menu. I stated I already knew what I wanted and made my order - tofu bites, mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. When the food came out, the Brussels sprouts were large. I was so excited to eat them. I took a bite and realized they needed additional cook time b/c they were bitter. The mac (actually penne) and cheese was more buttery than creamy. When the server came to check in, I explained the bitterness in the Brussels sprouts and he offered to send them back for add'l cook time. When the food returned, they were still bitter. I eat Brussels sprouts frequently and know the size also impacts how long they should be cooked. I hope the BOH team can be trained to take into consideration the size when they cook them so the bitterness isn't apparent. I also wish the pasta was creamier/cheesier - it felt like I was eating pasta with butter.I rated my experience accordingly due to the poor service and quality of the food. I love supporting vegan restaurants and do research prior to visiting a new city to select the restaurants I want to try. This menu looked appealing and the reviews were positive. I had high hopes, which weren't met, and wanted to share what happened.

My daughter took me out to brunch, and we found this place not far from home. Best first-time experience at a restaurant! Vegan and Vine has deliciously prepared food and a great venue. Plus, the server was very good and sweet. My daughter is not a vegan, but she also loves the food! I'm thrilled that I have a favorite place to eat out because I usually dislike eating out. Now we plan to go back with my granddaughter (5) because we saw the nice little kids station they have ? ?

Wife and I visited for the first time and were thrilled with the food! The fried onion rings (special) were amazing with the light tempura style breading. Then I had the burger while my wife had the chicken sandwich and both were amazing! I could probably afford to go a little lighter on the mayo next time though. 23 also had the crème brûlée. For a vegan option, it was great and I was pleasantly surprised. Beignets were also amazing! Can't wait to go back for more!

The food is cooked to order and very delicious. Our server was great, and although she said it was only her 3rd day, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back.
