First time being here and let me say it was a real treat, I can't wait to come back! We started with the kewele, it had a bit of spice to it and when paired with the peanuts is a nice combination. We also had a wonderful drink (can't remember off the top of my head) it was a hibiscus tea with pineapple, clover, and sugar that really had me in love.As my main course i had the west hut and my friend had the spinach with beef, both were great! We asked for the fried plantains on the side as it's such a great addition to the meal. Wonderful food and kind people. Loved our waitress she was rad!

Please this place is such a disappointment, I’m unsure if their good reviews are from people that know them personally or they write it but any actual Nigerian or Ghanaian would not give anything over 1 star. First the food is actually nonsense, I couldn’t eat it, even if I returned it there weren’t any better options to replace with. My first order came to me cold, I asked for it to be heat up and it tasted just as bad still, I just paid for it and left it there. Secondly it’s utterly overpriced, especially for food that tastes like that??♀️and the hookah is $60!!! Like bruh be actually for real! I’m not in Houston! It’s not even worth it here! What took me out the most was their “suya” bruh that’s just HARD FRIED BEEF! That is not suya, yall didn’t even make an effort to even grill the meat! Smh!!! Such a disappointment. I have so much to say but to make it short I definitely WILL NOT be going back here. If you’re looking for authentic Nigerian food, don’t waste your money here. They’re just there for the ascetics.

Authentic West African food. The food is delicious with ample portions. A good place for vegetarians also. Service is friendly and professional. Centrally located in Phoenix. I had the spinach dish, jollof rice, and goat meat--very good! All the meals that my friends got seemed very good too.Vegetarian options: Can substitute vegetables for the meat portion of a dish.Parking: The restaurant is located in Park Central Plaza by Central and Earl. There is plenty of parking. If there are a lot of cars already one may need to go to the free parking garage or around to the other side of the plaza by the Dignity Health offices and there is ample parking in that very big parking lot there.

The beef patties, red red, fried plantains, and the okra were really good!Meat served with bone left in, just an FYI. Also the beef patties were awesome, but also served HOT so you gotta be patient and let them cook down
I love okra and I think the okra stew was the best version I've ever had. The mushrooms, cauliflower and carrots all added lovely variety and was cooked to perfection and maintained the snap of the veggies. First time trying fufu- different but delicious and grew on me for sure- my 6 year old loved it! I came in not knowing what to get and appreciated the recommendations by the staff. I can't wait to go back- the vibrancy of flavors and balance of spices was phenomenal.
