I highly recommend the Carne Asada tacos and the chips, guacamole and queso! Service was great and the food was equally great.

Nox and Syoko were amazing. Super welcoming and spent time to talk to us. We appreciate everything including the food and service. Food, service and ambiance were on point.

It was a busy Sunday in Downtown Phoenix with the Dbacks game and cheer comp. Good food and quick service. Willie's is always a good place to stop!!

Yelp says they are open till midnight but thats not the case, their kitchen closes early then its only the bar that is open, waste of time to walk down here, with false operating hours.

Horrid, location must be key for this subpar restaurant. Bad service & cashiers were talking negatively about customers as they walked by, making comments not ideal for an establishment.

WONDERFUL FOOD!! Great flavors! You gotta try this place if you like Mexican food with a gourmet flavor and style like no other. The bartender girl was fantastic and had the most personable and friendly disposition too! All of the employees were in a really good mood which made for a nice experience. Food came fast and the place is pet on a leash friendly. Food came very fast as well... See you again Willie's!!

Fun little spot to come to when there are games happening or events! Love the fast service always but seating is first come first serve. Normally go for the nachos and the bean and cheese burrito but today we tried the popular taco.

We just happened to be in the downtown phoenix area during the day and right before the Diamond Back's game this last Tuesday and we hadn't eaten all day and since Phoenix has all the best what I thought was Authentic Mexican food we choose to stop in here at Willie"s to try out some of their tacos. I started off by walking in and ordering a strawberry margarita now I always get my drinks blended however in this case they didn't have a blender no blender at a restaurant/bar next door to two stadiums? Ok whatever I got past that and told the bartender that on the rocks was fine as long as I could get the plastic cup rimmed with sugar and she was fine with that $13 later ouch for a small plastic cup. So then we placed our food order I got a two carne asada taco combo but here's where I had the issue one the food came out terribly cold and second the asada was a strange mix of ground asada and chopped that was heavily salted with a Lawry's taco seasoning packet taste I was crazy salty. My boyfriend ordered a asada burrito with the same strange meat in it that was over salted and super greasy to the point of being able to see the grease separating from the seasoning. The ambience is really cool and the cocktail was good but pricy our food however fell super short and I can't in good taste recommend the asada here maybe the chicken or seafood is better? I can't honestly tell you. But if you like good expensive standard cocktails right before a game then this is your place.

I order the nachos my first time here, they were hands down THE BEST NACHOS. However, towards the end of my meal I found a tiny hair in the food. I decided not to say anything because I already ate the food. Yes it’s nasty, but I took that L. I’m here again, a week from my first visit. Homegirl at the bar was very focused on her phone, while flossing something in and out her mouth. There was no judgement… until I put in my order and she instantly started making my drink w/o washing her hands. Maybe the staff should be retrained on contamination and cleanliness. They have great food, but unclean/untrained food handlers.

Service is great. So, so friendly. BUT, they really need to change the fryer oil. The chips had a terrible flavor…almost bitter? It was weird. Salsa was tasty though, so if you put enough of that on, the taste of the chips was less
