No longer Haunted Kitchen I think the reviews are based on the Haunted kitchen prior to being bought out. Recently bought and combined with Montezuma Tavern. I have to say the server was a very nice guy but unfortunately he couldn’t make up for the food. 1. Poutine Fries are good but super small portion for $15 appetizers. 2. Street Tacos are about 1/2 the size of a regular street taco and they are $5 each. 3. Barbacoa taco was the worst meat in a taco I’ve ever had. All it was was super salty. Almost not edible. 4. Shrimp taco was shrimp cut into small pieces that resembled maybe some shrimp but mostly just batter. I will say the flavor of this taco was delightful. 5. Hands down the absolute worst jalapeño poppers I’ve ever experienced in my life. Freezer section poppers are better than these. The three other people at the table agreed. The center of the 1/2 jalapeño was filled with uncooked batter and had cream cheese between the pepper and the batter instead of in the center. They were half peppers so maybe the cream cheese shifted during frying but it really doesn’t matter. Should just take off the menu. Horrible and can’t be fixed unless start over. 6. Wing are average. The buffalo sauce is good but eh… average. The honey balsamic is unique and if your going to eat here I’d say you’d be happy with these.So if I or anyone at the table been asked how the food was I would have talked about it but we weren’t asked. The new owner was there too.We had high hopes because of the good reviews and felt misled. Especially when we arrived and were assured we were at the Haunted kitchen but it had been bought out and combined with the bar “Montezuma’s Tavern”

Wow! Good street tacos. These are a must have from the menu. Great customer service skills. The owner was attentive, inquisitive, and courteous to all patrons in his establishment. Great atmosphere as well.

DELICIOUS FOODTried the Out of the Bleu burger; lots of thick cut maple bacon, enough Bleu cheese without being overpowering. This burger was amazing, the bacon and patty are made in-house for sure. The fries are wonderfully crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Can't say enough, we'll be back.

We recently visited Prescott AZ and ended up at the Haunted Kitchen & Montezuma Tavern on a night when we didn't want to venture far from our hotel but wanted a quick bite to eat and a drink. The Haunted Kitchen serves food from the Montezuma Tavern during the winter months and while their menu is not big, it is Oh So GOOD!!! The street tacos are AMAZING!!! And the chicken wings and burgers and fries do not disappoint either. The tavern is small but cozy and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We had such great service that we ended up there a second night! On the second night we had another GREAT meal!!! An added bonus was that the tavern had live music from some local talent and they were EXCELLENT!!! We will definitely be back!

Being from Michigan and spending a lot of time in Canada, I thought I had Poutine that couldn’t be beat. I was wrong… the poutine was delicious! The cheese curds were fresh and perfectly prepared, they “squeaked” for those who know what that means. The rest of the ingredients were perfectly blended and balanced. Not too much pico to make it watery, not too much spice to make it overly spicy. Just all around deliciously balanced. After that we tried four different tacos (chicken, barbacoa, salmon, and shrimp) all were unique in their own way and just as amazing as the poutine. After dinner we just happened to see and compliment the chef. He graciously thanked us and informed us that ALL of the dishes are made from scratch in-house! No wonder the meal tasted fresh and delicious! If you’re in the mood for a drink and a good meal, we highly recommend this place! The menu is condensed but what is on there is top quality!

Came here for the first time last night and everything was sooooo good! I definitely recommend the garlic fries and the honey balsamic wings. RIDICULOUSLY good! I don't think we would've found this place if we hadn't found it on Google. What a gem! Our server was fantastic too! (I can't remember his name, but I think it was Tyler or something like that?) He just had a great attitude and the perfect sense of humor to deal with adult children like us.

The stars by all means does not reflect the food or service we received. The one young man waiting tables was Awesome!!! The bartender was knowledgeable and drinks were amazing as well. The food was worth the money and would love to come back. Felt bad they were not set up for success. This place was poorly managed to only have one person waiting tables and bars not equally stocked. Needs new Management to set the staff up for success

Been here a few times and it is great now that they have a real chef in there! Chris is the best! Until today I have had the wings and some bbq and they were both awesome! Had a burger this time and I have to say, great burger! The one I had was the pepper jack guacamole burger and it was delicious!This place is a must! if you haven’t tried it yet do yourself a favor and check out The Haunted Kitchen!
