When ordering a sandwich on gluten free bread...why on earth would the sandwich come on wheat bread and the gluten free bread come separately?First of all, this could be (and is) an allergy. Second, I've never ordered a $20 sandwich with a $5 bread upgrade and imagined I'd have to fully rebuild my sandwich on arrival of my meal. Brilliant.And now my lunch is over and I can't eat.Thanks again.

The Local restaurant in Prescott AZ is a great place for food and atmosphere. They actually have a separate menu just for vegan dishes. The food was very fresh and tasted great. All the ladies working there were friendly and nice. They have outdoor seating as well as many tables inside. It is very bright and cute inside with fun and quirky paintings of various people, pets, and landscapes. I will go back again and highly recommend The Local!Vegetarian options: The Local has a separate menu from their main menu just for Vegan dishes with many choices.
The food was disappointing to say the least. I could not finish my meal. When we entered the restaurant I asked about gluten free options and the greeter said anything could be made gluten free. That is not the case and I couldn't finish my food neither could my husband. The wait staff were slow and rude especially regarding my allergy to wheat.

Chorizo hash was super yummy and worth a try. My wife had the frittata and I think it was the best I've ever had! Perfect pancake and French toast for the kids. Syrup tasted just like butter scotch which isn't something I get a lot. I appreciate it how good their water tasted; it was summer when we went, so it was a hot day. Different response of different sources and it's not always gonna go down clean tasting. Whatever they've got is working for me! Really good coffee! Clean bathroom with a changing table a huge plus for fellow parents. If you're coming through with kids, I say this is a must stop!
