I was somewhat skeptical, given the low health score but the reviews had me trying this place anyway! Yum! This is a casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered at the counter and sat down, waiting for take-out. They do allow Grubhub orders here. I had a meh pork tamale - the maza was too wet for my liking and didn't have great texture. The pupusas were delicious! Definitely order these over tamales.

Really good food and the staff was so friendly. I got a combo platter of 3 pupusas (been and cheese and cheese and garlic) fresh handmade delicious! I also had a passion fruit agua refresher that was sooo good! Yum we will be back

Been meaning to try this place for awhile and stopped in while nearby. Ordered the two pupusas (carnita steak) plate that comes with pickled cabbage and a hot sauce. Got a side of refried beans too (black beans). They were fresh and tasty. Go with the refried beans and dip your pupusa bites in it! Lots of cheese but the steak was very disappointing being diced about half the size of a pea and there was very little of it despite the $.50 extra charge. I would recommend a different protein. Also, one pupusa isn't enough and two is too much. I'll definitely be back, just won't do the steak again.

Very good pupas I always come here when in santan area. The food is very good. The service is great they are always fast when placing an order.

First time in, I tried an assortment of pupusa, tamale, dessert, salsa and slaw. Food tasted great! Flavor wasn't an issue. If you are a texture person, this is fair warning. Everything was on the soft side besides the slaw. This is most likely the style and I'm not harping on it just wanted to give an honest review. I really enjoyed the tamale, they wrapped it in banana leaves and the portion didn't feel skimpy. Definitely would eat here again.
