The customer service was terrible and the sushi was awful no flavor ,and far to much rice.The person who runs the register horrible customer service who appears to run the place has no business .I asked him why they don't have baked muscles his response was you don't wanna eat here ..The desert which was pecan ice cream had a long piece of hair on it which my girlfriend spotted ..Horrible food service worst sushi I've ever had....

I’ve been going to Akita for many years and it really has never changed. Most of the all you can eat places are a little farther for us so we enjoy having this near by. Quality of the fish I think is the same across the current AYCE in phoenix and good for the price. I personally like to go for the lunch price as it seems more bang for your buck. They always have steady and quick service. The atmosphere feels pretty old but it’s clean and I’m there to stuff my face with sushi so it doesn’t bother me. probably wouldn’t go here for a romantic date

This has to be the best deal in Scottsdale. I really enjoyed everything comes in small plates so I can try more options. I would have never tried the eggplant teriyaki if I had to order a whole plate of it, but a single piece was well worth trying.The bathrooms are also just one of the most amazing things.... I wouldn't normally review a bathroom at a restaurant, however the bathrooms are super cool.

Easily one of my favorite sushi places in the Phoenix-area! The sushi is quality and delicious with plenty of other, non-sushi, options, and the all-you-can-eat is great. I have been coming here for about 2 years now and enjoy lunch here about once a week!
I'm sure the food is good, but my first and only experience there, I had a baby german roach crawling on my menu. I'm sure it's an overall great place to eat, and I'm sure one customer not coming back won't hurt them. Let me know if you need a pest control in the future! I do it for a living!

It just ruins the experience when your server gives you attitude for no reason. He would be at the table next to us smiling and talking then would come to us with a frown and act like he doesn't speak English. The food was okay though. Some things were nasty, some were good and some things were okay. We had the all you can eat.
