A friend and I came here at 5:45pm, right before their happy hour ended, but were able to order off of the happy hour menu anyways. I love it when menus include food AND drinks on their happy hour menus. And since they didn't have availability at the bar, they sat us outside at a regular table, which was totally fine with us. I got a spicy margarita while my friend got a sangria. She said her sangria didn't taste like there was any alcohol and she is typically very low tolerance, so that's saying something. My spicy margarita was great though, so maybe just keep that in mind when choosing your drink! For food, we ordered: chips and salsa, mahi tostada, shrimp el governor, and al pastor tacos. We were expecting smaller portions since it was happy hour, but were pleasantly surprised with how much food there was. They give you a lot of chips, so it was probably our mistake of eating too many before we got our regular entrees. We were pretty stuffed after the tacos and shrimp el governor, so didn't necessarily need the third dish. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the tacos and shrimp el governor. We did notice that each dish had a bit of an unexpected kick, so those who are sensitive to spice should ask ahead of time! Overall great service and good value - would definitely recommend coming by for happy hour!

We had an excellent time. Sat at the indoor bar. Fun, eye-catching atmosphere, well dressed and polite staff. We arrived during happy hour, which wasn't planned and got the last 2 seats inside. After looking over the menus, we both decided on the margarita flight. 4 different flavors with tasty splashed rims of flavor. We also chose to have the happy hour tacos and ate all 7 of the 8 we ordered. We met another couple who were visiting for the first time from Fountain Hills who happened to be in the same business as us. We enjoyed our evening with great drinks, delicious food and fun and engaging service!

Tonight was our first time dining here and it did not disappoint. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful and I fell in love with the decor. We ordered the potato tacos, shrimp Diablo pasta, cod tacos, and apple tostadas for dessert. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. We had an awesome waiter named Jeremy who was very attentive to us the entire evening. He has superb customer service skills. I highly recommend this restaurant and would love to come back when we visit AZ again.

A decent place to grab a quick lunch. The weather was perfect, so I decided to sit in their outside patio. It was spacious and well laid out. The service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious, though the portions were on the small side. I had a rather enjoyable lunch...

A Brunch Delight at Alma: Exceptional Service and Divine Mimosa Flight I have frequented Alma for happy hour on a couple of occasions and have always been enamored by its charming ambience and exquisite drinks. However, my recent brunch experience took my admiration to new heights. First and foremost, let's talk about the mimosa flight - an absolute must-try! Each variant was a burst of flavor, but the peach mimosa stole the show. The accompanying photo speaks volumes. For brunch, I opted for the watermelon salad, and it surpassed my expectations. The freshness of the ingredients and the harmonious blend of flavors left me craving for more. To complement my meal, I indulged in a side of bacon, which was cooked to perfection. What truly elevated my experience was the impeccable service provided by our server, Isaac. Despite my friend's dairy allergies, Isaac effortlessly accommodated our needs with grace and charm. His professionalism, friendliness, and humor made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Alma has undoubtedly secured a spot on my list of favorite brunch spots, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit, hoping to be served by the exceptional Isaac once again.

I am writing this as I am sitting down, reservation was at 8 was seated promptly by the hostess and was treated kind by the hostess. We are a table of three and have been waiting for 16 min without being acknowledged. Many waiters saw us and one waitress walked right next to us looked at us and helped the table right next to us then the next table to that. Extremely unacceptable! We had to get the attention of someone bussing tables in order to get water and she was kind enough for to alert the manager without us asking.

Honestly, we did not order food. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar and enjoyed a cocktail. It was a sunny spring afternoon, and the bartenders were exceptionally friendly. I want to come back to enjoy dinner. The ambiance is laid back yet elegant without being pretentious.
