Baby backs were great. Joe (owner/pitmaster) came out, picked up a guitar and picked a little blues. Great guy to talk to.

These owners/ cooks are the nicest people. The food was great. The food portions were beyond our expectations and we left full and satisfied. The customer service was excellent and we definitely enjoyed ourselves. Note: the cornbread is wonderful. I have remorse for not ordering an extra to go.

Has a really interesting vibe for a strip mall bbq place. I appreciated the random musicians that were talking and playing a little bit. Lots of guitars on the wall.Funky place that serves very mediocre food. Brisket sandwich was ok…meat was juicy. Big serving. Fries were burnt, salad was weak iceberg lettuce, lemon pound cake was forgettable and they didn’t toast the bun at all.The kind of place you go for an order of the $25 brisket and skip everything else, because it’s literally all they can really do.

Not good all around. 2 sets of people left while I was in there. I was literally the only person in the restaurant and had to ask for a refill. BBQ sauces, especially the house sauce, tasted like there was turpentine in it. Overpriced considering the quality of food and service I got. Definitely don’t recommend it.

Went in to scope out a place to do my first open mic night and ended up being invited to play guitar for the audience! Joe and Shay are incredibly welcoming. Amazing atmosphere.

I Emailed multiple times to reserve a day/time on their website for the open mic night But never heard back. (I don't understand how a public restaurant can dictate what type poem a patron can recite??) Some people don't know what being Christian really means).Renee B.

A great neighborhood joint with great food, family owned focused service, love music (as scheduled). Cole slaw is excellent, fried okra how I like it. Ribs look amazing as I wait for them! And, just ordered a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving! Food is great. Owners are great. Sauces are great! By the way, the ribs were smoked and amazing! Great night

The owner was a professional Blues pianist and sometimes plays the Grand piano inside. Fun. We have abandoned all other BBQ spots as their BBQ is so good. I worship the French fries. They have great sliders. I favor the pulled pork. My wife really likes the brisket. On Thursday nights a couple of pretty skilled retired harmonica players show up. They are good and it is a bit nastolgic. Several adult beverages are available.Parking: Bashas Grocery and Paul's hardware share the large parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from parking lot. Wide front door.
Tasty food that’s cooked to perfection, served with love and passion. The husband and wife dual of Joe’s Barbecue Shack are destined for multiple locations.. Great food and music.
