This was our first time going to this restaurant. We like to try new places and since it was near our son's house and got great reviews, we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. Somewhat fancy but not pretentious. Great atmosphere, service and food. If you want to splurge this is a great place.

This restaurant was 5 stars all the way. Our waiter(Calen - i'm sure i got his name wrong- it was Irish ) was friendly and efficient. We had the duck fat popcorn , wish I could have packaged it and taken it home!! My husband had the meat loaf which he said was moist, flavorful and a huge portion. I had the scallops. They were huge and perfectly cooked stop creamy grits. Delectable ! The bar manager ( didn't catch her name) was so helpful with the wine selection and the hostesses even cleaned off my new blouse that I spilled food on- What a beautiful evening and it was my birthday . I can say I was treated like a Queen Can't say enough good things about this place

Lovely time after walking the charming streets of Old Scottsdale. The bacon popcorn is a must. We appreciated happy hour along with the dinner entrees of the ribeye, scallops and meatloaf

Food was fantastic. We had four in our party. Our drinks, appetizers and meals were outstanding. Two of us had the sea bass, which was perfectly prepared. One of us had short ribs and the other the scallops. (To address another review, there were only three scallops, but they were large and excellent, and the dish was plenty of food.) Everyone loved their meal. Ambiance is very cozy. When we arrived, the dining room was full so the noise level was pretty loud, but it wasn't distracting. Service was excellent too. We definitely plan to return to this restaurant when we visit Scottsdale again next year. It's a little pricey, but overall the best dinner we had, more refined and prepared especially well.

The food was very good as well as the cocktails. We were disappointed with the service. The waiter seemed to be brand new as he had to leave our table to get questions answered. We also received our salad at the same time as our entrees which was unexpected and frustrating. My husband didn't want to send back the food due to it being wasted and the waiter had no clue any of this went on.

The timing of food delivery was way too fast. We had barely tasted our cocktail before our salad was delivered. The chopped salad is amazingly good but we'd have liked to enjoy our delicious cocktail for a bit. We had barely finished the shared salad before the entrees arrived. We didn't order the entrees until after the salad was delivered. My husband enjoyed the Corvina Sea Bass although the potatoes tasted odd. The perfectly seared scallops were overwhelmed by the cola gastrique. There were barely enough of the grits to truly enjoy. The pea greens were tough and not enjoyable at all. The Bananas Foster bread pudding was delicious. We would return, but would order in a much more controlled manner on our part.

Fun time and very good food. The waitress Nikki did a FANTASTIC job dealing with the allergies of different members of our party as well as making great recommendations for our dinner

Can't make a bloody Mary? Bar overwhelms dinning experience. But some interesting menu items. Good salad, nice meatloaf, unique burger french dip idea. Parking sucks. If you are in old town, good choice.

This was our 25th wedding anniversary. We happened to be here for my husband's conference & chose the restaurant based on its 4.8 review. The server was extremely busy but did a nice job. The dinner and wine (by the glass) menu was a bit limited but we found some satisfactory options. The most disappointing part was the noise level. We had to lean in to hear each other over a very small table. The table behind us must have felt the same way because one man sounded like he was shouting to the man seated w/ him. There was no acknowledgment of our anniversary. Not a big deal but overall not a place for a intimate/romantic date night. Much better suited for livelier celebrations/gatherings. Would give it 4 1/2 stars if that was an option.

Great evening. We chose this location for a business meeting, great location. Would truly recommend this restaurant. Started with our server Sammy, very bubbly and informative. Her recommendations were spot on! The popcorn duck fat and bacon & Burrata is great way to start along with a nice top shelf cocktail. Our party had the sea bass and scallops, for being in Az, the seafood was awesome!

We enjoyed our get together at CPH. Our server Tori is outstanding. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in my appetizer. It was because I really enoyed the porkbelly and I would have been happily satisfied with two portions of the pork belly and would have had that as my entree. There was a little "thin' sweet potato pancake which I would have liked to be thicker, I would not call it a pancake because it really was very thin. Nevertheless, I would order that porkbelly appetizer again, I ordered a Zero proof mocktail- it was the Thirstade-- Tori recommended it and it was so good I ordered it twice. The Thirstade is a great mocktail "Not -a-Garita". I want to go back again and try their other Zero proof drinks. We ordered the roast chicken with steak fries. That fed two of us because we were getting a bit full from our appetizers ( the sesame porkbelly, the burrata, and the Noble Bread platter). We ended the meal with the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. It had a scoop of vanilla ice cream , coated nuts, and brandy sauce. It was perfect!! Three of us like dessert and were not disappointed. On my next special get together, I plan to make another trip to CPH and have a new set of friends enjoy this place.

First time here. We were seated near the outdoor patio which was nice as it was a cool evening. Reese was our server and spoke to us immediately. He took our drink order and appetizer order. The chicken wings were great and the popcorn tasty but maybe a little too much bacon for me. We both had salads and added chicken and shrimp, very fresh and just the right amount. Thankyou!

Great chop salad, and service! When the place is full is really loud and very hard to have a conversation in a normal tone of voice. It started to empty out towards the end of the meal and became a little easier to converse.
