While the staff was amazing and decor immaculate, all I could keep thinking about was how I could've gone across the street to Filiberto's and get better Mexican food for significantly cheaper. Mediocre comparative to the Mexican food scene across in the Valley. The margs were certainly good though!

We tried this place while visiting Arizona on vacation. The waitress was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. She made many great suggestions, which my family all tried. The food was very good. The street corn, guacamole, and queso appetizer was delicious. I opted for a New York strip dinner - also great. BUT the chef undercooked the meat a bit. But I still enjoyed it. My wife had the chilies rellenos (?) dinner. That was amazing - especially with the chipotle cream sauce. You can put that sauce on anything and it would be great. I enjoyed the ambience here. It wasn't super loud in there, and it wasn't super quiet. It was perfect. Depending on where we stay next March will determine whether or not we'll return to this restaurant. If we stay within 15 minutes, we'll return. Compared to a lot of the restaurants in Scottsdale, I think it's worth trying ... Again, the service was excellent. Great service goes a long way. We tried another nearby restaurant (Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers) and it was probably the worst restaurant we've ever been to. But hey, we're food snobs. We live in Chicago and have the best restaurants there.

We've been trying to find the best margs in Scottsdale to no avail. We stumbled across this restaurant and hit the mark!!! The margs are made with fresh juice and are absolutely delicious (no watered down sweet and sour mix around here!). The food was phenomenal. I had pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes and was floored. Never expected this combo in a Mexican restaurant for sure... But wowza, it was heaven on a plate. My husband had the Mahi tacos. Generous portions and cooked to perfection. The staff went above and beyond. Such excellent service from the moment we walked in. Can't wait to revisit this establishment - will definitely be in our routine when we visit Scottsdale. Couldn't ask for a better combination of ambiance, food, and service. Really doesn't get any better!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Scottsdale! We sat at a high top near the bar and were lucky to have Matt as our server and bartender, he took the time to address my gluten sensitivity followed up with us thru out the evening. The meal was fantastic one of the best meals we've had while in town and the service was top notch. Andrew is the GM and he stopped by a couple times to check on our table and let us know they are diligent addressing sensitivities. Great to see the human side of the service industry address with such nice people. We will make this a go to place when we are in town again.

Received a call from the General Mgr apologizing for the deficient experience we had on 2/28 at the restaurant I was impressed with his honesty and real desire to ensure we came back and try his food and service again Highly commendable and shows he cares about his customers Highly impressed This is the type of local establishment we need to patronize We will go back and hope the food and service this time are stellar JMP

Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The green chile queso is out-of-this-world delicious. Short rib tacos hit the spot every time and are packed with flavor. Their sauces are made fresh from family recipes. Staff is friendly and attentive. It a favorite restaurant of ours to share friends and family.
Overall always a good experience and delicious food. I only wish they had a few more options that are easily made vegan. I ended up ordering the chicken chopped salad with no chicken and no cheese. All in all, great. Jen was our server and she had amazing service!

I don't want to be the bad guy here but it was Monday night, and it was my 65th bday. No service, drinks took forever to get, and the table behind us was also getting upset. The food was good but i just felt uncomfortable with the wait of everything.

Get the Chile Renello stuffed with chicken, the chef's family recipe. Great prices for what we received. Thanks for a memorable evening out! (and thank you for lots of gluten-free options)
