Hidden gem in Old Town. My husband and I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the owners and wait staff! Chef Grace and staff make you feel like family the moment you walk in. From Pat's warm and inviting greeting to Sid's satisfying Sangrias...the ambience is charming and relaxing. Even their music playlist is perfect (love me some Frank Sinatra); volume is just right for great conversation. The patio is cute and the ideal place to people watch. Wait staff is professional, friendly and attentive - Neil and Brian always take care of us, even when busy. I highly recommend the Baked Brie and Caprese Salad to start. For the entree, I always order the Whitefish (or the Pasta with Italian Sausage - delizioso!), and hubby's fave is the tasty Turkey Meatballs. Make sure to save room for Chef Rosemary's delectable Bread Pudding dessert! You can't go wrong with whatever you choose on their menu...their ingredients are fresh and everything is homemade! In addition to everything mentioned above, Cafe Forte even supports local artists by displaying their art on their walls - Local businesses supporting locals - Love this and love Cafe Forte! Cafe Forte checks the boxes on all levels! Check them out and you'll become regulars just like us.

Literally the worst Italian food I ever had at a restaurant. We ordered the Cafe penne and the one the Campenelle. The sauce essentially tasted the same. Was very underwheling and watery. Tasted like your standard pasta noodle with a Prego sauce (admittedly I've never had prego but I assume that's how it would taste, bland). Only mine also had a drop of horse radish mixed in and celery. Interesting combo to say the least but I was happy for the little bit of flavoe. Also, food came out within about 7 minutes which is never a good sign. Must mean the pasta noodles and sauce were prepared in advance. The reason this gets a two stars is because the hostess and waiter were absolutely amazing and kind. It's just unfortunate the food was so unimpressive.

A fresh, organic tomato can make all difference. I started with gazpacho and it was flavorful and full of crisp, fresh ingredients. The lamb burger and chocolate torte also very good. We enjoyed sitting outside and will definitely return. Service a big plus.

Cafe Forte was a wonderful experience. We had a party of 6 for dinner on a Saturday evening. The service was excellent and attentive. The menu was varied and wonderfully prepared, healthy, and something for everyone! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet. We were surprised that it wasn’t more crowded but we didn’t care. We all loved our food and our time spent at this little gem.

Visiting Scottsdale for a few days. Today I was seeking out bread pudding and low and behold I discovered possibly the best bread pudding you’ll ever have here. My wife and I intended to get it to go, but instead had a light snack. We had the most delicious polenta as well as the soup de jour, onion soup, both we absolutely as good as it gets. The ambience of the restaurant is terrific, wonderful art, lighting and seating. The service was wonderful. A total 5-star experience. Price were as could be expected, not cheap, but a great value. Highly recommended.
