My daughter and I had such a great experience!! Our server Brandon was so awesome. He went above and beyond to make our dinner great! We also got to speak with Andrew who is the owner. Such great people and a great place to eat. You will not be disappointed. The food and ambiance are wonderful. Absolutely loved the food!!

Ok meal but did not care for a few of their policies. Table of 6, 3 couples, they would not split the bill by couples and added a 20% tip. The server seemed a bit busy and missed a few queues with straws and then forgot the dressing for one of the meals. By the time he got the dressing, our friend had waited about 5 extra minutes and the burger was getting cooler. Food was pretty decent though not memorable. Then we get the bill and had to spend 10 minutes splitting it out by couples. We do most of the work, get billed for the 20% tip and spend an extra 10 minutes at the table. Could have turned the table quicker by just splitting it for us. Also, I know these couples and they usually tip quite well. But with all of the'policies' and we don't do that.... We decided it was enough. Not a good look for the restaurant overall. I doubt we will return. Too bad the management decides to put the onus on their customers. With over a million visitors of older folks in the winter who are on fixed budgets and love to eat out, you would think they would cater to them a little better. We usually don't complain, but this was a bit over the top. We have had most servers and restaurants accommodate our groups and we reward them accordingly.

Went to Carlsbad Tavern off a Google search of the area in Phoenix and was amazingly surprised! Good food ans the restaurant is super cute with stuffed bats everywhere. The New Mexico flavor is all over the menu but I have to say the fried ice cream and the queso were great! There's even a late night menu as well after 10pm! Would recommend to any type of individual!Dietary restrictions: Gf is marked on the menu with also the spicy level as well.Kid-friendliness: Super cool atmosphere and there's a good choice on the kiddos menu too!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible all around

Really cool place with a great vibe inside and outside. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Service was great and so was the food. Nicole V was a great server and was really on top of happy hour making sure that we all got our drink orders in on time. I appreciate her attention to detail and her positive attitude. First time here, but won’t be our last.

Being from New Mexico, I'm always skeptical eating at a New Mexico cuisine restaurant. You guys brought it!? PERCENT on point.Delicious flavors, cocktails on point, staff was amazing, atmosphere is welcoming and fun.Will definitely be back to experience more of the menu.
