I hate that I have to write this review of me of my all time favorite places to eat close to the house. We use to frequent this location on a reg basis. Unfortunately the decline in customer service keeps taking a turn for the worse. Tonight we stopped in to eat and grabbed a table in the bar. We were told the bartender would be right with us.... after waiting about 15mins and watching her serve everyone that walked in after us we were fed up and had to walk out. I hope someone who actually cares from this establishment reads this and takes notice and rectified the situation for other patrons.

First time here last night and it WON'T be the last! Great food, ambience, and service! Let me start by saying that being from Chicago, I love me some baby back ribs. They're hard to find in AZ, folks. I've searched high & low. A few times I've had them at BBQ joints, they are the large, cheaper version (good baby backs weigh in at 1 & 1/4 lbs & are peeled). St. Louis ribs are popular out here... those fatty, honkin' kind I guess people like because they are BIG. Not me. I'm looking for lean, fall of the bone goodness with just the right amount of pull, not smothered in BBQ sauce. I found Em last night! Together with shoestring potato fries and KILLER baked beans with a little heat, it was the perfect meal. My friends opted for the meatloaf. Wow, this was no ordinary version. It had cheese, spices and a few secret ingredients to give it some punch. I'd go with that if I wasn't jonesing for good ribs. We topped it off with German chocolate cake. ..a HUGE hunk, served hot, and the cobbler, served steaming hot & topped with vanilla ice cream. The entire meal was as close to perfection as I've had in a long time. Great service, with a never ending refill policy that kept us quenched throughout the entire meal and then some. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

The shrimp scampi was very delicious. They have a drink called a peach bellini and it was amazing and a good refreshing, summer drink. The bang bang shrimp and flat bread appetizers were deelish

I don't know where to start...the entire visit was absolutely amazing. Start with James, our waiter. You couldn't ask for a better waiter!!! This guy was "the man"Food? OMG...seriously amazing. Flavor and taste was so good. Prime rib dinner, rib eye steak, baked potatoes, salad...and the flakiest croissants ...ever!!! Top shelf margaritas and ice cold beers. Just go!!! I cannot say enough of this place! A hidden gem.

First time here and the results for most of the food was good. Entrees average about $19, so it should be high quality. Baked Potatoes soup - good quality, thick and creamy and lots of potatoes.Nut crusted chicken - delicious, kind of like parmesan, but with three nuts, red sauce and a great side of angel hair.Chicken fried chicken was too much gravy and too heavy a dish.Cheap wine is $11 a glass, so beware. Nice dim lighting and good social distancing.

I had really a very nice experience for the most part. The food was well prepared and our service was great overall. The only thing that rubbed me wrong was dining a small fly or gnat in my drink towards the end of the visit.

We have always enjoyed Charleston's and this location is one of the best. Our greeter, Amina, warmly welcomed us and had a very pleasant demeanor. Very professional! Our server, Shelly, was outstanding! She knows what she's doing and it shows. She's way more than good. We really enjoyed her personable service and attention to detail. We're already planning a return and will definitely ask for her.

Why go anywhere else if you're in the area we're staying Kierland Westin! Shelley gave us her best recommendations & service. House salad with house made ranch was so good! It came with a croissant that melted in your mouth- came out fresh and hot! Who does that? Top sirloin with fully loaded baked potato is the only way to go! My son loved his chicken piccata! The dish of the night could have been my son's baby back ribs!! After second thought, I loved my sirloin steak! Will come back next time to visit my ASU Sun Devil!

This spot is probably underrated, but it is really good. My friend and I said we would come back just for our server, James. He was amazing; great energy and amazing suggestions. The croissants are to die for! Thank you, James!

I come here around 3 times a month and the food is always great. I usually get the baby back ribs and they never disappoint. I came in this Friday (the 7th og August) around 1pm and wasn’t too pleased with the service. The reason I am giving a bad review this time is because the service is definitely something that could use some work...mainly in the host department. I used to come in a lot on Friday mornings back in January and the girl at the front was always sweet, but she must not work there anymore because I never see her anymore. There’s been multiple times where I have come in recently and there has been the same girl at the front (black hair, skinny, and looks like she could possibly be Phillipino). I’ve had experience with this girl multiple times in the entrance of the store and none of the times has is been what it should be. Every time I’ve had an experience with this young lady she seems to be upset that she is there and has no problem showing that to the customers coming in. If I were to be treated that way from a McDonalds employee it wouldn’t be a big deal but from a restaurant that is supposed to be fine dining it definitely comes as a shock to me that the employees are allowed to act that way towards paying customers. As for the server I believe her name was Ariel and she did really well but also seemed not happy to be there which is really disappointing. Please train your employees to be nicer to your customers because I personally believe service can make or break a restaurant. Other than that a high five to the cooks for all the wonderful meals.

OMG their Shrimp Cargot appetizer is the bomb. We love Charlestons’s. One of my favorites is Walts Champagne Chicken Salad. We live in Surprise so we keep hoping they will open a Charlestons’s in the West Valley.

Excellent food, great ambiance and a wide selection on the menu. We stopped early in the evening and they were ready to accommodate us this was before the latest lockdown. I would definitely go back as they have several menu items I would like to try that really interested me.
