Drinks: I ordered a gin fizz and it come over ice with an orange garnish; I decided to let this indecency slide as they are not a cocktail house.Food: (1) Crispy Pork Belly: SUBLIME and unctuous; don't neglect the sweet potato cake on which it sits to make the perfect bite with kimchi. (2) Crab Cakes: Plump and fresh. I usually avoid seafood when not by the sea, but this proves that some desert spots still keep their seafood fare on point. (3) The Original Chopped Salad: It is large enough split and the ingredients/textures all balance wonderfully.Dessert: Banana Foster Bread Pudding - Disappointing. It was dense and lacked really any banana nuance. And it's extremely large for a dessert. I prefer simple and small for sweet bites with actual distinct flavor.Overall, I would absolutely return for their starters and mains. I would skip dessert and keep my drink simple (a gin fizz is not complicated, though) or perhaps just order from their cocktail list to ensure accurate delivery requirements. While tables are nicely spaced, as the evening wanes on it can get quite loud for conversation.

The Short Ribs are shown here. A little dry overall. Dessert (Banana Foster Bread Pudding) was very good. Same with crab cake appetizer. Definitely a spot to try. Menu has a nice variety.

Great evening. We chose this location for a business meeting, great location. Would truly recommend this restaurant. Started with our server Sammy, very bubbly and informative. Her recommendations were spot on! The popcorn duck fat and bacon & Burrata is great way to start along with a nice top shelf cocktail. Our party had the sea bass and scallops, for being in Az, the seafood was awesome!

We enjoyed our get together at CPH. Our server Tori is outstanding. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in my appetizer. It was because I really enoyed the porkbelly and I would have been happily satisfied with two portions of the pork belly and would have had that as my entree. There was a little "thin' sweet potato pancake which I would have liked to be thicker, I would not call it a pancake because it really was very thin. Nevertheless, I would order that porkbelly appetizer again, I ordered a Zero proof mocktail- it was the Thirstade-- Tori recommended it and it was so good I ordered it twice. The Thirstade is a great mocktail "Not -a-Garita". I want to go back again and try their other Zero proof drinks. We ordered the roast chicken with steak fries. That fed two of us because we were getting a bit full from our appetizers ( the sesame porkbelly, the burrata, and the Noble Bread platter). We ended the meal with the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. It had a scoop of vanilla ice cream , coated nuts, and brandy sauce. It was perfect!! Three of us like dessert and were not disappointed. On my next special get together, I plan to make another trip to CPH and have a new set of friends enjoy this place.

We walked into this place with high expectations based off previous reviews but unfortunately it was disappointing to say the least. The famous “chopped salad” was wildly underwhelming and reminded me of a bagged salad you buy from the grocery store. Bacon popcorn is exactly what it sounds like - popcorn smothered in bacon grease (our curiosity got the best of us). The short rib meat was fairly tender however the sauce that it came with was essentially just cherries soaked in vinegar - very bizarre. I am giving three stars because the service and drinks were good. I’d definitely skip the food especially with the price tag.

Very much enjoyed Citizen Public House. The Original Chopped Salad is absolutely a must. Best salad I've had in years. Meatloaf was also a hit. Good service, fun evening, all-around! Easy parking just next to the restaurant!

A must in Scottsdale! This is no ordinary public house! The food, drinks, and wine list are amazing. We had the sea bass and scallops. Both dishes were great. The restaurant is located in downtown Scottsdale, which is a great place to roam around before or after dinner. One caveat, even though Public House is in the name, there are no beers on tap…interesting.

This place is excellent! The salad met the hype. We split it which worked great. Then did the meatloaf and bass. Each were tremendous. Next time I come back I’m trying the short ribs. Service was great!

Started with the shrimp cocktail, delicious and refreshing. Drinks were excellent. Main dishes we had were the scallops and gnocchi, rich but amazing...
