My friends and I have been coming here for years, we’re definitely not coming back after our most recent experience. The staff is so rude, the “owners son” who also happens to be a bartender grabbed my friends arm and pulled her because a glass got knocked out of her hand and the front door guy used derogatory words towards two of our friends who were looking for our group. I can’t believe how downhill this place has gone, so sad.

Senior female bartender at the patio is not so nice. Seem like she has no service mind. We ordered so many drinks, not only sit by the bar all night with one drink or anything like that at all.

Ernie’s used to be me and my friends go to spot for karaoke on weekday nights. We went often for about a year. When we went most recently for my birthday (on a Monday night) it was pretty empty - maybe one other table had people at it but it’s a bar on a Monday night so not super busy. Everything was fine at first, a couple people ordered a drink or two but I wasn’t able to drink due to a medication I was on - and some of my friends had work the next day. About 30 minutes in, the bartender starts to tell multiple people in my party that they need to buy more drinks or we needed to leave. The bartender even told my mom that the only reason we weren’t kicked out was because it was my birthday. Eventually, they wouldn’t even play our karaoke songs that we had written down - and they made an announcement that “if you want to sing you gotta buy drinks”.Now I understand you want more business - and if we were taking a table away from a higher spending table I would understand. But the place was completely empty, on a Monday night, and we had bought a couple of drinks. Really unfortunate because I used to love going there so much, but that experience left a really sour taste in my mouth.

I went here on a Karaoke night on President’s Day weekend. It was a BLAST!! The bartender worked double duty but kept checking on us, making sure we were taken care of. The KJ was on point. She managed the regulars and newbies with ease and made us all feel at home. She also sang with us, karaoke friends to help us rock out. My only complaint, which isn't against the venue, is that some drunk barbie doll Beckys came in, sat in the corner booth, and started FILMING AND LAUGHING at karaoke people. Filming them dancing and singing, then laughing. I have zero tolerance for insecure people who want to harm others. Way to be buzzkills! Everyone else was singing, dancing, laughing and having a good time. If you are too afraid to join in, and want to make fun of others to make yourselves feel good... go to Old Town. This place is for people to let lose and just be themselves. If you don't like yourself... go be plastic elsewhere. Loved this place. It made my trip!!
