Service and ambiance were great but the food was mediocre. I ordered the soft scramble and it was disappointing/didn’t come as described. The server was great though and did what she could to make it right. Others in our party had the smash burger and complained about the saltiness. The other thing I thought was shocking was that you could not swap your side dish from fries to a salad - the chef would not allow it. First time I’ve ever come across this type of silly restriction before.

First time dining here , food quality was very good , ordered two pasta dishes very tasty but portion size was terrible , when serving pasta dishes restaurants can be more generous based on cost of pasta , for some reason this restaurant doesn’t feel that way . Would go back but not order a pasta dish for that reason.

We had been excited to try Etta and unfortunately were disappointed. I think our experience “could have” been better, but we were seated in an off-area with no ambience and wind screens flapping with the busy street on the other side. I could see a nice restaurant through another area, but we were not a part of it.The ceviche was full of red sauce/ spices and overbearing- my least favorite in the valley. I loved the baked oysters! The roasted chicken and cauliflower were good. Our server was really busy “on the inside” so we sat and waited for long periods of time without drinks, between dishes, etc.Overall, a disappointing experience. Not sure if we’ll be back with so many amazing restaurants around.

My anticipation was high as I entered Etta in Scottsdale, lured by the positive experiences I've had at its Chicago counterpart. Unfortunately, my expectations were quickly dashed upon stepping inside. The ambiance was immediately marred by the sight and smell of dirty glasses, both for wine and water, casting a pall over our visit. Despite our attempts to remedy the situation by requesting replacements, the issue persisted, leaving us with a sour impression. As we embarked on our meal, the disappointments continued to mount. Dirty utensils greeted us, followed by an overly acidic Caesar salad and fries that erred on the side of excessive saltiness. Even the promising cacio e pepe dish failed to impress, lacking the finesse expected of such a classic dish.Adding to our frustrations was the palpable aloofness of the staff. While it appeared more a result of sluggishness than intentional neglect, their lack of attentiveness grated on our nerves. Our waitress failed to inform us of happy hour specials, and her knowledge of the wine selection was sorely lacking, disappointing us as avid natural wine enthusiasts. We initially sought a natural rosé, only to discover it was no longer available. The waitress attempted to steer us towards alternatives that didn't align with our preferences, leaving us dissatisfied with our wine selection.Even the most basic items, like the burger, left much to be desired—unseasoned and overly heavy. Meanwhile, the state of the bathroom, with its evident plumbing issues and unpleasant odor, further soured our experience regarding cleanliness standards. In conclusion, my visit to Etta in Scottsdale fell egregiously short of expectations. Despite being drawn in through the inKind platform, the experience was far from satisfactory. The contrast with its Chicago counterpart was stark, and I cannot recommend this establishment. The high cost of the meal, totaling $169 before inKind credits, only highlighted the shortcomings. Without these credits, the visit would have been a waste. Moreover, mishaps with our water order, failure to replace dirty glasses, and a server's lack of communication skills added to our dissatisfaction. These issues, combined with the overall lack of attention to detail, left us with a disappointing dining experience at Etta in Scottsdale.

This was truly the worst dining experience I've ever had. I went for my birthday and I was so disappointed. The server was rude and not knowledgable. The service overall was so terrible. I asked for basic things such as a knife to cut my chicken sandwich and dressing for my fries, and I never received it.The restaurant was not busy, so there was no excuse for the slow and terrible service. Food was not good. I ordered an Irish Coffee, which apparently the bartenders did not know how to make, and I was given a black coffee with a shot of whiskey on the side.....Who does that lol. I asked for it to be remade properly and they were unable to do so. So overpriced.

Highly recommend Vegetarian: Focaccia, Beet & Burrata SaladHighly Recommend by my carnivorous boyfriend: Wagyu Meatballs, Hanger SteakService was great, it was really busy when we came in for our reso at 8, didn’t wait too long to be sat - the service wasn’t fast, but it was expected for the time and great service regardless. Ambience is so cute, waitress came over and lit a cute candle for the table and the decor is cute and posh.Cocktails: etta rita was good!Only con: we didn’t love the espresso martini, it was more syrup/sugary than expected

It was all of our first times here and we were celebrating a girlfriends bday. I would say she was disappointed that items that were listed on the website menu were not available for brunch like they said. I got the sticky bun? I don't think that's what it is called. But it was delicious! I was also disappointed on the menu. I am all about simple. But I did not feel it had a good variation of portion options. I also had to seek help for service several times and our server completely forgot to ask a few other girls at the table what their drink order was. Yes we were all sitting at the table when she took my order. I did send back the "spicy" margarita because to me it tasted like store bought margarita blend and just added raw jalapenos. It was dreadful. The atmosphere is to die for! I for sure felt like we were in another state another place. It's stunning inside. Park in the garage right across the way from it. Would I go back? Maybe? Other people rave about this place. I don't think it would be my first choice if I got to pick a place for brunch.

Just awful. Overpriced and awful food. Something I could make at home for cheap. It’s just awful. Service slow. I got sick from the food here. Atmosphere is cool but I will not go here again.

If you’re looking for a great date night or celebration spot, consider this restaurant. The ambiance is really cute, romantic, and elevated.Came here for my birthday because I wanted something new. The service was decent and water staff was on it. The menu had a wide array of food. The only gripe was that I don’t think the quality lined up with the prices listed. Granted, I think some of the price was their rent payment because it is at the Quarter. The Hummus is a must! The roasted garlic flavor and fresh pita was a match made in heaven! I did have to order another side of pita to finish the amount that was provided! The Divola Pizza was tasty! Loved the hot honey on the finish and the fresh parm that came with the pizza toppings. The cacio e Pepe (family style) was good. It wasn’t like anything from Italy but it was good. The sauce wasn’t too thick - it would almost evaporate once it dried on the noodle.Overall, I would come back if there was a special occasion or if someone treated me to a night out.

Pretty interior, food is okay but nothing special. The pizza crust was super burnt and should have never been served, and other dishes did not taste as the menu described. Definitely not worth going back. Also we accidentally left our to-go box at the table, and went back 5 mins later and they had thrown it away already.
