A great day at the pool was had. Our private pergola was perfect as was our service from Emily. Food was delicious and they kept the drinks flowing!
Great place to relax and eat by the pool! We ordered the guac and salsa trio and split a grilled chicken sandwich. I also had a Corona. John was our waiter and was very kind. They even brought us two half servings of the sandwich since we were splitting it. Of course, this restaurant is in a very overpriced resort and the menu prices are pretty high. Overall, a nice experience though. And the views are great!

It's not what I was expecting. Merriot needs improvement in the main pool. The ping-pong table is good but no balls. And other games are broken. The service was very good. But the pool was very small and the water temperature was too cold during the day.

Supply and demand--after baking in the sun all afternoon, you are going to HUNGRY! (and this place is your only option within blocks). They didn't have a ton of vegetarian options, but there was a veggie burger and a wrap. The wrap was solid (avocado+chipotle mayo + veggies) and came with a MOUNTAIN of hot, salty fries. The pool staff are also super attentive and check-in on you regularly. There is definitely an up-charge for all the food at the resort, but this place was life saving while attending a conference here. Lunches were often little rabbit salads, and it was good to know my friends at the pool could hook me up with actual sustenance, haha!

The pool is great, but the food just meh. Ordered a salad and added shrimp. Mixed greens were fine but the shrimp smelled and tasted fishy (and not in a good way). I decided it wasn't worth the risk after eating two and left the rest. Still, pool is lovely, staff friendly, and they had some fab live music the day I was there. Would go for the pool, but skip lunch.
