I really hesitated between a three and a four star... the food is good and the service was spot on. We liked the choices on the small menu. The heavy metal music in the side room was unpleasant and the atmosphere is definitely lacking. Especially the entrance which is austere to say the least. The prices really are high, with $52 for the Steak Frites. $35 would have been more in line. Overall good experience but we will not be adding this place to our regular rotation and we would opt for other choices when we have out-of-town guests. This does not bode well for longevity once the newness wears off.

A spectacular place if you're a foodie. The flavors blend wonderfully. We watched the episode of diners, drive ins, and dives before going. Good thing we did. We initially thought this was a seafood restaurant. It's not. It's an eclectic restaurant. The Italian beef and duck fried rice are out of this world, as the food network showed. We also had the curried cauliflower and spicy green beans. Both were fantastic. Warning, the The spicy green beans ARE SPICY and we're not whimps when it comes to spicy food. I don't have enough adjectives to say good this place is. We can't wait to go back. Make reservations, though.

What an excellent experience. The food is exceptional and on par with what we found in Europe. The kitchen is creative and the bar was superb. The staff was knowledgeable and no more than a second after we finished a plate anyone who was passing by was tending to the table even if it wasn’t our assigned waiter/waitress. A very too notch experience.Lots of people coming in shorts tshirts and hats. Some in decent clothes, but the atmosphere is relaxed with a taste of luxury. Felt very good.We got two cocktails which were amazing, crab hush puppies, duck fried rice, bbq octopus and oysters. The octopus and the oysters left a great impression. The hush puppies were delicious and the duck fried rice filled us up with great flavor. We finished with the date cake — do not skip dessert! We will be going back.

Excellent dinner! We started with the street fries and crab hush puppies, which were both very good. I ordered the duck fired rice. The duck was very tender and the egg on top was cooked perfectly, I really enjoyed it. The dish was also the perfect size; not too small and not too big. My girlfriend ordered the grilled shrimp. She enjoyed it, but did say the shrimp could have been more tender. The best part of the dinner was desert. We ordered the date cake and it was incredible. The bourbon toffee sauce on top is amazing! On top of the delicious food the service was great as well. We were in/out within an hour and did not feel rushed.

Hush is an appropriate name; very loud ; needs serious help with acoustics.Do not come here hungry! Entrees are tiny. Nothing comes with it. I ordered lamb shoulder and got a tortilla with shredded lamb. It was more like an appetizer. The scallops wouldn’t fill a tiny child.Hush will leave you still hungry after spending over $100 per person (including wine)

As a foodie, I can't believe this restaurant has never been mentioned or popped up in my search. The atmosphere is great at the bar, otherwise horrible. Cheap chairs and tables in a side dark room? It's like you're at the VFW in a Carolina. Plus it is in a strip mall. Great to find a reuse of the space but someone needs to do something about the facade and ambience in the side room. I would not eat there.Drinks were great. Grand entrance was different, spicy and delicious. Likewise for the tequila drink. The menu had severalsmall plates. Great for older people or sharing. Unusual dishes so all good there. But the green beans were cold and the Szechuan chili sauce was overly salty. The scampi red sauce was also way over salted. Can't get my ring off this morning overly salty! Fried rice was great. Finally, the bread is so good freshly grilled but, I'd like to have choices that will be hearty without carbs. This menu is small and several of the choices are rice, bread pasta.Service was great but we arrived later and I can imagine it can be tough as it still was busy at 9pm.One final weird thing. The chef at the bar calling orders and checking plates before they are delivered, wipes the plates along the edges for presentation but the cloth then gets set on the bar counter? Over and over? I can't help but think there's all kinds of bacteria on bar tops, just like your own kitchen counter and that concerns me. One time, I saw him use his bare hands to reposition the fried egg on the fried rice dish. He touches the receipt printed out paper and machine right in front of him and rubs his finger under his nose and then touches cooked food? Maybe I'm a germaphobe but once food is cooked that bacteria or germ is there to stay. YUCK.I'm not certain we'll return for a second chance. Maybe for a drink and an appetizer to see if the salt level is always high.

Upscale leave kids at home. Oysters are best I've had in 50 years. Not large just delicious. Split appetizer with husband. Had curry cauliflower appetizer as my dinner. Absolutely delicious. Duck fried rice was good but will probably try clams next time. Date cake dessert was amazing. Enough for 2. Absolutely will return. It's pricey but worth it if you like interesting food.

The food was amazingly prepared! Best dish ever is the Italian beef dish with ox tail. Crispy cauliflower and baby back ribs were excellent too! Chef Alex and his team are so talented and will give you food better than you would ever imagine!!
