Mediocre service, salad bar was partially filled, more than a dozen tables hadn't been cleaned for new guests and salad was old / limp for what you'd call a "salad bar" even though they've changed and reduced your visit to only 1 bowl.

Food is always good, salad bar is kept nice. Dropped a star due to tables not being cleared in timely manner. Would be better to allow people to throw out their own trash if no one’s going to come around cleaning tables. Ice cream machine was down, but that should probably be removed permanently anyway. No way that’s getting cleaned proper on a routine basis.

I've fallen in love with this place! You cannot beat the variety, quality, wholesomeness, and price of Jason's Deli anywhere! I'm a fairly new customer because I've always associated deli's with cold cut sandwiches & potato chips. I can't eat much of that stuff at my age. Surprisingly, if you've never been, they offer a huge variety of healthy foods - whole wheat breads, soups, bowls, salads, pizza, salad bar, pizza, grilled cheese, and more than I can list here. Their baked potatoes are so huge & delicious, but you can only eat about half. They have an impressive salad bar that includes potato salad, pasta salad, hummus, tzatziki sauce, nuts & dried fruit, multiple greens, boiled eggs, & so much more. Their jalapeño ranch dressing is my favorite. After your meal, you can help yourself to the free soft serve ice cream, which my grandchild appreciates. This place has it all, and at unbeatable prices. I love Jason's Deli.

*I have never left a restaurant a poor review before this* We placed an order here, and one of the items we got was the CB ranch potato. Because there's basically no ranch on the "ranch" potato, and nowhere to add on/order any extra dressings (we looked), we called the restaurant & politely just asked for an extra little side of ranch for the potato. The very kind "manager" (Rodrigues) answered & refused to give us a tiny extra side of ranch unless we gave him our card information over the phone & paid $.75 for it. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. Sad I spent my hard earned money here. Never again.**EDIT: Our order has been in the works.. but now they have delayed it and pushed it back to the latest deadline allowable by doordash. I find this hardly coincidental.I expect to hear from a manager (a different one- and hopefully nicer one) about this.
Better not make a mistake when ordering, the dudes on the line will flat out ignore you. Unless youre an attractive woman it looks like? we all like em pretty but sheesh.. can't be too obvious with it, fellas

I'm soo happy to finally find a deli that isn't shy about loading up the meat in their sandwiches!!!You definitely get your money's worth at Jason's Deli! Plus there's a HUGE menu.I will be coming back here again due sure.Very impressed.

My wife and I have been going to Jason's Scottsdale for about 20 years.The last 2 or 3 times we've noticed that it needs a good cleaning from top to bottom.The food and service has also become a problem.At one time I ordered a Pastrami sandwich which was served cold, right from the refrigerator.This time I was asked if I wanted the bread toasted.I said "No" but it was delivered toasted.My wife ordered a half sandwich and fruit cup.The sandwich was delivered but no fruit cup for which she had to go back to the counter.Another thing that I don't understand is how The Chef's Special ( 1/2 sandwich and cup of fruit) was 3 dollars more than a whole sandwich.

Born and raised in Texas, I grew up with Jason’s Deli. There was one right across the street from both my middle and high school in Houston. It was always nice to have a healthier option than fast food on lunch breaks or after school. That being said I love how I live somewhat close to this Jason’s Deli now in Scottsdale. I usually get it delivered by Uber Eats or DoorDash and the food is consistent and fresh. The times I’ve stopped inside for take out or to sit down the workers have always been friendly and smiling. I recommend the ranchero wrap, Shelley’s chicken salad sandwich, or their desserts which are surprisingly really scrumptious for being already made. I need to try the muffulettas somehow I overlook that every time but I’ve heard good things. The dip they serve with fruit is really good! The potatoes could be fluffier but you can’t beat a huge hot loaded baked potato ready for you at lunch, the closest thing to getting that is going to a steakhouse and ordering a couple loaded baked potato sides which isn’t very efficient. And if you dine in there is a free soft serve ice cream machine :) All good stuff!
