Service was bad. Girl had attitude. She left dishes pile up. The guy cooking was nice. The food was salty really salty. You have to use your phone to access menu. I don't like that. No small extra dish to put anything on.

The sushi was okay. The ramen was lacking flavor. The garlic edamame wasn't good at all. The server was the best part she was really attentive. The teppanyaki chefs are really loud I wish they had a separate area for that. We couldn't really have a conversation because it was so loud. I would not come again with all the great sushi restaurants this one isn't one I would recommend.

On March 15th,. My girlfriend and I along with another couple friends went to visit this restaurant. We had a dinner reservation in the afternoon to do the teppanyaki. My girlfriend is highly allergic to seafood and shellfish. Prior to our arrival, we called asking and they informed us that they can accommodate the allergy. We also told the host, the server and the cook. What we than experienced was an abysmal performance of poor food handling techniques. When the chef began cooking, there were multiple food violations.1. Wiping the spatula with a hand sanatizer towel and continued cooking without changing the spatula.2. Touching raw meats, chicken and shrimp then stirring & serving ready to eat rice with the same spatula. With my girlfriend food allergies, touching the rice with a spatula that touched raw shrimp gave her a horrible reaction. This should not be the standard at a teppanyaki grill.Secondly, if you want to get a true teppanyaki experience there's way better option out there. Not only was I highly disappointed in the handling of the food, but the meal and show were not that good. The food itself was incredible salty and wouldn't be surprised if they add MSG. They also never performed common elements of teppanyaki including flipping of broccoli, squirting saki, etc. Finally, at the end of the night when we were getting ready to leave, the server hands a Togo box, but knocks over my water glass that falls and breaks right next to my food. We were unable to find the piece of glass and now don't even want to have the left overs since it may now have glass in it... I do not recommend this restaurant if you have any food borne allergies, they do know how to not cross contaminate.Dietary restrictions: Cross contamination see details in the post.

Food was amazing. I like the fact they have a parking lot which definitely helps for the area. The weird part was the waitress was on the phone via Bluetooth the entire time I was there and while she was waiting on me. Super weird. Like uncomfortable weird. And they charge a fee if you use a credit card.

I hadn't been to Kyoto in at least a decade. Our tepanyaki experience was top notch. Our chef was skilled and funny. Btw this was my first female tepanyaki chef and she killed it. I need more tepanyaki in my life and I will definitely be back to Kyoto again asap.

First time here for a Birthday celebration. Small spot, parking wasn't to bad for a Tuesday.

The owner is quite rude to customers, they use cheap frozen Tuna, and the resturaunt is very dirty. I’ve been to over 100 different sushi concepts and this is near the worst I’ve ever been to. The only thing worth eating here is their rice.Vegetarian options: None technically since they’re touching raw meat and then touching everything else.Dietary restrictions: There are none, and no one washes their hands or uses gloves between grabbing dirty wash clothes and cutting your sushi.Parking: Had to pay for parking because there was none due to all the other restaurants in the area.

Blah. Shrimp tasted like rubber

Good food but it seems a bit over priced. Make sure to recognize the service fee & automatic tip! It's also very very loud which is great for a celebration! I would just refrain from bringing kids. I've only been here twice and both times the service was lacking. Mainly in management and hosting. We showed up for our reservation on time and they gave it away to someone with the same name, I guess? I'm not really sure what happened there but it was the most awkward and uncomfortable restaurant experience I've had in a minute

I do enjoy sneaking in here when we have a chance. We usually go in between the lunch and dinner rush and have impeccable service. It is usually very quiet around that time and our foods comes out quickly. We found ourselves making "mmmm..." sounds when we are taking bites of our sushi! The "spicy" edamame was not very flavorful but we like it very spicey, so this might be perfect spice for someone else. I highly recommend!

Good teppanyaki. The TV monitors in the dining area are a bit distracting.
