Joyful

This place is good for drinking, loud music, maybe watching games. Food is awful, prices too high for the quality. Service wasn’t friendly or helpful. Seemed like a chore to our server. Definitely won’t return. Paid $30 with tax + tip for awful queso dip and tiny, overcooked taquitos. Queso was yucky, could’ve made it with Velvetta and would’ve tasted better. Even the salsa is tasteless. My friend got the chicken quesadilla and it was awful as well. Some kind of cheap yellow cheese inside of it and the chicken was just gross. Never again.

The fish tacos are very good. So are their Brussel Sprouts! Service was great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐First, My friends, family, and first time comers, the food and drinks is ? the tacos and the margarita with different options like having an option of the rim (tajin, sugar, and salt) best combo for a marg. and shout out to Lance cause he def provides exceptional customer service! I had an order mix-up, but Lance went above and beyond to ensure I received the correct food - no questions asked. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made the experience delightful AF! Lance always wears a smile too, making sure not to drop it

This is a lively place to sit at the bar and people watch. The tacos are excellent.

I had dinner here with my family once when my brother was on a recruiting trip. If you don’t get here at the right time, the place can get pretty packed and the weight can be long. I don’t mind long weights as long as I get to enjoy the same service that everybody there is getting. Assuming the service is good. Anton no surprise we had a great time. So despite some long wait times if you don’t plan your evening, the food is pretty good. The servers are nice. And you can watch some sports on the TVs

We were very rudely treated by the management of this establishment. We were promised a table inside because it was 50°, windy and spitting rain outside. All along manager kept telling us that we would get a table soon. When a table opened up, the manager rudely stated that we could no longer move inside because we had been outside too long. What the heck? We left and went next-door for a nice warm meal. This establishment doesn’t seem to really want your business. The security guy outside barked at people how long the wait was and was not welcoming at all.

Saw several empty barstools and tables. Attempted to enter via the patio. Bouncer saw I was old, and yelled at me that there was a line.... somewhere??? Obviously they didn't want us there. That's OK, took our $100 bar tab down the street. Screw you Loco!!!

The obese bouncer with fake Diamond ear rings (over 350 pounds) pushed on us waiting outside while the bar was open. The food at loco patron has always been below average, their margs are Jose Cuervo even when you order Don Julio. However, the guac and drunken tacos have been solid. Absolute trash service by the fatty up front which will lose them business. Long wait times, regardless of open tables, below average drinks and food. Come for the Middletown vibes, leave with a hole in your wallet. Cien Agave is exponentially better.

By far my favorite bar in Old Town. Lazer, Sherm, Timmer with Jazz as the captain, I have to say, that is an all-star squad. Food is fast and delicious chased with a strong drink. Do yourself a favor and go there today. DO IT. DO ITTTTTT!!!!

We were bored of our normal places and decided to stop in. They had live music playing and the (free!) homemade salsa is a must have! I got a watermelon margarita because it's made with juice not syrup. Will definitely be back soon. Ask for bartender Lance, he makes the best drinks

I cannot hype this place up enough! Dog friendly, THE best spicy margaritas, everything on the menu is delicious and made from scratch, plus the entire staff is sooo damn friendly! Truly my favorite place in old town. You can never go wrong spending a night at loco

Was told the food was 'authentic' and 'really good', it was not. I felt like the food had no taste and it was not 'authentic'. It didn't taste anything like real Mexican food. Not even the salsa that came with the chips was spicy or had flavor to it. My margarita tasted like it was just mango juice and no alcohol in it. The booth we sat in still had leftover chip crumbs on them. The waitresses were too busy gossiping by the bar and then manager had to keep telling them to move around and do something. Our server was the only one doing her job and was super nice! Unfortunately, I will not be back.
