I’ve been in search of great Chinese food since moving to AZ three years ago. I ordered an egg roll, Mongolian beef and chicken mei fun. The egg roll was very good but unfortunately, I’m still searching for a great Chinese restaurant. The Mongolian beef did NOT resemble any Mongolian beef I’ve ever had. The beef itself was well-cooked but the sauce was a thickened soy sauce with bell peppers and a few yellow onions. It was Chinese pepper steak, not Mongolian beef. Mongolian beef is made with dried chili peppers and scallions. The chicken mei fun was nearly tasteless. On the upside, the prices were reasonable (post-COVID “reasonable”, that is) and the portion sizes were good. Regardless, the pricing and one good egg roll are not enough to motivate me to order from Red House again.

Red House restaurant Scottsdale The food was cold and uneatable The coconut shrimp lacked the shrimp. When I asked the older lady I think owner she just said that it is all we give you all just get two shrimp which I thought it was a total RIP OFF concerning the price of $14.99. The egg rolls were greasy and not being able to be eaten for such a foul taste, we ordered the kung pao and it was so spicy that you could not eat it. We complained to the owner and she did not care and did not seem concerned. You would be better off to go to CHEF Jay Chinese down the block or Canton Dragon both exceptional compared to this DUMP

Just sprinkling sesame seeds on it doesn’t make it sesame chicken ! Save some money and keep half of the onions out of the fried rice. Very disappointing Meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible unless you can jump a curb

I’m from Boston where I believe is the best Chinese food. Living on the west coast for 17 years I avoid Chinese food but my Cali born wife loves terrible Chinese food out here.Scrolling through DoorDash I saw a picture of the boneless spareribs and had to dig deeper, then I saw a pic of the pork fried rice and that it was New York style, so I thought I’d give it a shot as the tastes between Boston and New York are similar.Besides the nonsense duck sauce in the little packets the food was the best I’ve had on the west coast in the last 17 years, it was not as good as my favorite spots back in Boston but it was almost right and satisfied the craving. I plan on ordering some real Boston style duck sauce online before ordering again, that should make everything all right. The boneless spareribs were great, the pork friend rice was so good, the orange chicken was good as well. We were both so happy at the end.I don’t understand the negative reviews about the food, I haven’t had any better in Cali or Arizona.I did read a few that were concerning about cleanliness inside the store, not sure if I want to go in for a check or live under the “ignorance is bliss” mantra……

This was the first time we've been here. And it will be the last. The food was hot, and that's the only positive thing I have to say. The food was bad. Really bad. Second worst Chinese food I've ever had. Such a waste of $40. Absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. I love leaving great reviews, but I just cant with this one.

Good solid Chinese fast food. On average, I get takeout from there 3 times a month. My favorite is Kung Pao chicken. The Orange chicken is also very good. Not fond of the hot and sour soup but the wonton.soup is excellent.

Never disappointed except to learn there are no more bbq ribs on the menu. Excellent through Covid and still now moving on.

I love The Red House! I really had a great experience with this restaurant's delivery service! The Red House is on the top of my list for "Chinese" food delivery! The Egg Foo Yung was absolutely the best I have had! The Pork Egg rolls were very good too! Only thing missing was some spicy mustard? I have lots of this so this was only minor issue.....I am also happy they are in a convenient location! I imagine I will pick up food there soon on my bike! They are very close to the Indian Bend Wash Bike path that goes all the way to Tempe Town lake and beyond! Many happy days to The Red House!I very rarely give reviews! So this is a special place! Thank You Red House!

Trash. ZERO stars is more accurate. First time ordering from here and were absolutely disappointed & appalled by how awful everything was. The fried riced tasted like flavorless uncle Ben’s precooked rice from a pouch but triple times nasty. The general tso’s chicken was a flavorless soggy mess, and the sweet & sour chicken was unseasoned with batter that was a weird chewy consistency likened to being stale; it seems the sauce on the side was supposed to mask this atrocity. We are in no way “food snobs” and are against food waste but this was so bad we wouldn’t even feed it to a starving dog. It was all garbage and that’s where it went. Such a waste of money!

Ordered beef with snow peas & mushrooms. No mention on the menu that a bunch of carrots, squash & other vegetables (none of which I like) would be included. To top it off the taste left a lot to be desired. Even the rice tasted off. Although we ate in the restaurant not once did the two guys working there n even ask "how is everything but stood there chatting with each other. For sure, won't be returning

We've been customers for nearly a decade. For the most part, we've been satisfied. However, there have been instances of problems. Now, our last order was our last order. The order was botched by them, despite our clear and specific special instructions input on the order platform. When we called to let them know, the person on the phone began yelling and ultimately hung up. Before doing so, she said she'd correct the order error, but would charge us. Customers getting yelled at, harassed, hung up on and left feeling somewhat extorted are heading elsewhere. This is bad business. Beware.
