Best sandwich in Phoenix! A co-worker recently recommended Rinaldi's and this will now be my "go to" spot for lunch. Got the toasted Italian w/ giardiniera and it was a 10/10. Added a side of Mac salad and it made for a perfect lunch. The service was incredible and the atmosphere was fantastic. Can't recommend Rinaldi's enough and I can't wait to go back.

All bread my best estimate on the pastrami sandwich I got maybe 2 ounces of meat Super disappointing and it's not cheap, sadly it's just the way the world is right now you can't even go out to lunch for under $15 anywhere

I asked my friend to bring me a breakfast burrito on his flight to New York because I haven’t been back home to Arizona in months and needed it. He got me some Bolivia sauce I love

Let me start this by saying the moment you walk in, it's hot and uninviting. The person at the register can't hide his disdain for customers or his job. And there wasn't even a line! No reason to hurry us off or anything. Just ready to end his day. Tried to ask him a question, he just pointed to the menu. Asked him if they have any soups available, "we're out". The shortest answered possible. Didn't even look at us, no greeting. Nothing. He just wanted to close already even if it's 2 hours away. We ordered our food and it was subpar. There's little flavor in the brisket and the cold cut sandwich tasted like they were fresh out of the freezer. Maybe this place was good? There were pictures of past accolades but those days look like they are long gone. If you're looking for a good deli, this is not the one.

this place has the best of everything, being from new york it is home away from home. the staff is always friendly and fast on service. definitely a recommendation

We ordered three different things from their menu, of which none were available. The attitude and smugness of the individual behind the counter was enough for us to leave without getting anything.

I am from out of town but originally from New York. This place is authentic. Amazing sandwiches, warm and friendly staff and owner and the cannolis are the only ones that I have EVER had outside of New York that are true cannolis!

First time visiting. Staff was very helpful and fun to talk with, joked around. Fun! Other half had a Greek salad. Loved it! Included dolma (2) which is a nice touch! I had pastrami sandwich. We decided to sit outside which was nice on a beautiful day. Frankly the sandwich wasn't that good. The flavor was there but lacked pastrami. Next time I'll try something else. I try to give restaurants a second chance.

We decided to give this place a try after seeing them on the Good Morning Az show a few weeks ago. I had the Italian combo wedge and my wife had the small meatball both toasted. Great sandwiches and definitely recommend. Also tried the infamous black and white cookie actually made in New York. Was not as impressed, the white frosting was pretty hard and was nothing special. The team was friendly and helpful, even checked on us while we dined out front on the patio.

First visit. Had the Itailian combo wedge. It was better than the cheap chain subs but not my favorite. I like crusty itailian rolls, and these were very softand the dressing makes them start to fall apart before finishing. There are only so many Itailian delis in Phoenix. So far, DeFalco's has had the best one IMO.
