Never got in. Small sitting area and very busy.

What a cool little historic spot! First saloon in Scottsdale, definitely had that old southwest vibe going on. We got there at 11:00 when they opened and it was pretty packed. We were still able to get a spot at the bar. There was a band playing, which was cool to hear at that time of day. Lots of stuff around the walls to check out, including dollar bills posted all over the walls. They take the money and donate it to a children's hospital. I thought that was really awesome! The kitchen was super small, so just quick pub food like nachos and things like that. We didn't order any food, but the drinks were good. The biggest highlight were these cute chairs at the bar. Be sure to take a snapshot for your memory books!

Fun bar for day drinking. Bartenders were cool. One person band "Ray" was fun. Ask him to sing Sweet Caroline. Patrons were great and were a significant part of the memorable atmosphere. If you are in a bad mood or think the world owes you something go somewhere else.

I've been to the Rusty Spur many times and always had a great experience but last night was pretty horrible. I waited in line for 15 minutes and when we got to the front, and the door guy was waiving people in, I went to walk through the door and he through up his arm and hit my chest to stop me...I hadn't had any drinks and was quite taken back by this unprofessional behavior. He proceeded to tell me my friend was too intoxicated to come in. He was fine but completely understand if a business doesn't want to serve an individual, I've put on large events when I owned a professional sports team so get it. But to assume I was intoxicated and to physically touch me like that, unacceptable and a bad look for the business. I walked away and the door guy proceeded to refer to me as my friends boyfriend, which I assume was meant to be slanderous and derogatory. I will never go back to this business or bring friends as I have in the past due to this unprofessional and unacceptable exoerience. .

Great afternoon spent over Xmas. Whiskey was fab, cool guy in guitar with a good voice, met Stan, a regular, and talked to another patron with the best knuckle dusters I’ve ever seen. For us two Canucks living in the UK now , this was a real nice change of scenery! Bought a ball cap as aSouvenir, good price too!

Great little dive bar with live country music every day. All the artists have been great and most take requests. It's a great hole in the wall, but it really is tiny so it's always crowded.
