This place has the FRESHEST Chinese food! Try the Grandma's chicken salad. It doesn't disappoint! Also the spring rolls are so fresh. If you want a fast dine in dine out - please don't come here! Fresh food takes time. This is a family owned and operated place, so be kind and nice!

I don’t know where to start. Let’s start with how you aren’t allowed to add extra meat to the 23B order, chicken over rice with vegetables. Oh and not only that. When you go to get your take out. Be prepared to spend $5 on a Dixie cup of teriyaki sauce our you ain’t getting any! Also. The main course was literally the most sketchy looking chicken that was barely any to begin with! Yet I can’t order extra meat?? The rice was sitting in what looked like broth..Overall worst $22 I’ve spent, I’ve never been charged for teriyaki sauce. Let alone $5! Never been denied to add extra meat, it’s always pay a bit more which considering they didn’t give me any; I would have! (Teriyaki sauce attached to photos)

Came here cause my best friend said it was the best Chinese food in town. They have incredible lunch combinations where you get your meat, fried rice, egg roll, 2 wontons and either salad or soup for only $12! I got the sweet and sour pork and it was actually really good. My daughter got the chicken chow mein but didn't touch any of it at the restaurant so we took it home and heated it up 2 days later and it was not good at all. I ended up throwing it away after heating up the leftovers because it was questionable if it was still good. I wouldn't say this is the best Chinese place in town but it's decent if you're already in the area. Our server was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Sesame Inn has the best Chinese food!! Highly recommend their homemade pot stickers and house special noodles. Our server Ashley was amazing and gave us the best service! And the ambiance is great. Definitely coming back soon!

Great location, not sure about the ingredient age.... Ordered two soups and a fried rice to go, it was 'ok'.

We’ve been coming here for years… The most popular dishes my family loves, are the happy family chow mein, but we substitute the noodles in the dish which are thin and fine, but the rice noodles, which are wider and flatter and fabulous. See photos from tonight. We also add soft tofu. That dish is world class and wonderful and sometimes we ask for low salt. We tried for the first time tonight the fried catfish dish, which was an amazing surprise, perfectly cooked beautiful light sauce. We asked for no spice and the fish was incredible. Must try this is a little treasure tucked in between Sherwin-Williams in Liberty station barbecue. And they have a full bar and the most delightful young ladies working there. Enjoy!!Dietary restrictions: Low salt, gluten free white sauce, spicy optional…Parking: Very large parking lot,West end of the Terravita Marketplace, by Liberty Station and the Sherwin Williams paint store.

This is the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten or rather dumped! The BBQ Pork Appetizer was on a heaping bed of lettuce and was tiny little pieces of pork that were very dry with no taste. The Dumplings were raw dough undercooked. The Mongolian Beef was tasteless with very little beef. The same goes for the Shrimp w Lobster Sauce. I’ve had lobster sauce at other Chinese restaurants and this was NOT lobster sauce! The Fried Rice w Chicken, Pork and Shrimp was steamed and gummy, not fried. And I had to search for any shrimp, pork and chicken. $76 thrown away. Sesame Inn- STAY AWAY!!

I understand what the low stars are saying…but frankly, they’re wrong.Ordered shrimp w/ lobster sauce.Did it LOOK like shrimp w/lobster sauce that I had everywhere else? No. But to say it was “good” would be a wild understatement. The food here may not remind you of the stuff you get at panda express or whatever other generic chinese you’ve ever had, but it is absolutely a much more flavorful, authentic, richer, and more amazing dish. Yes, The potstickers are sticky (SRSLY?!). The egg rolls are tightly packed, the soups are practically HEALING, no chewy bits of overcooked, deepfried bulk nonsense in sugar sauce, the noodles are oiled but not *oily*.Yes, you might think they got the order wrong. They didn’t. I promise they know better than you. Thank the nice lady, and get ready to have your horizons expanded.Or…feel free to carry yourself back to that walmart fare you think is “right”.
