Breakfast was okay. I was given my bill. I paid cash. After I got home I noticed that on my receipt was a 3 percent technology fee. I wish I would have looked at my final receipt before I left. It seems a bit underhanded that it wasn't in my bill and I paid cash. We won't be going back.

Used to be our favorite, but food has slipped significantly. Burned hash browns, overcooked omelette, fishy lox and many add on costs - peanut butter $1.20. Service OK but no one smiles. See to be a happy place to eat. Hope it gets better.

Bright spot for breakfast and lunch. Food comes out quick, service is usually good, it was a nice experience with a toddler in tow- bonus is this service breakfast cocktails!

The best item I've found here isn't even on the menu. It was offered as a special several years ago and they continue to make it when I ask. What is it? It's their Buffalo Chicken Wrap. I've tried to find another buffalo wrap in Phoenix that compares, but I've given up finding another one. Everything is perfect about the wrap - the spice level is just right, the chicken is good, the tortilla is good too.

I frequently eat at the Summit Diner. Service and food is great. I have read some of the other reviews for this restaurant and noticed one person who wrote five different reviews. Cindy M sounds like she dines here quite often. The first three reviews were 5 star. The last two recent reviews are very negative. Why continue to eat at the Diner when it sounds like you are not happy there. Why bash a small business. Maybe they are struggling with the rising costs of living. The price of food, labor, lease increase and everything else. You are only hurting their business with negative reviews. Shame on you!!

Hidden gem. No waiting, fast, and friendly service. Good variety of food.

I’m not sure how this place stays in business as literally a couple customers in here when I pulled up usually that’s an indication of how good the food is and I was absolutely right as it is mediocre best, they scramble some eggs and throws ingredients in it and call it an omelette Everything else is bland and generic. Given the area and price point, this is a big disappointment. Service is average and no one seems enthusiastic working here. The atmosphere is simple but quaint.

I don't know why we keep going back. We are always disappointed and dinner last night was no exception. Had the Cajun chicken pasta. Very bland.

Nice little diner - typical decent diner food, a bit like we had in NJ…super fast food and great service with nice people! Nice local place for a quick breakfast that’s not in a bag and/or sandwich for lunch. Will go again.

The food was excellent, the service was very caring and good, the atmosphere could use a little work since it seemed like there were multiple themes competing at once but really, for a diner in the middle of Scottsdale it was comfortable and very cute. Tried my first liver and onions here when I was traveling and was surprised by how good it was- the country gravy on the biscuits and gravy I got was really tasty as well. Our server was great and took special care of us. It's usually never busy here, at least not more than a handful of people, but I think once word catches on it'll start being much more popular. Very nice to get a bite here in the late spring. Not much of a view out the windows aside from the parking lot, but the outside patio was a nice touch. Clean restrooms as well. Overall, very friendly servers, surprisingly good food and a confusing atmosphere. I like this place a lot.
