Had lunch with two of my best buddies today at Temptations Cafe, our second visit this month. One of my buddies chose the Ruben with coleslaw which he enjoyed very much.The other two of us each selected the club with fries (see pic). The over stuffed sandwich was cut into 4 triangles with a mountain of fresh, hot, thick cut fries. The sandwich and fries were absolutely top notch!We also spoke to Reggie, the owner who was very interesting to talk to. He showed us several pics on his phone of several current MLB players who were in town for Spring Training and had stopped in for a meal, which was cool!Reggie's from Chicago and his place has a large variety of Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox memorabilia up on the walls which was neat to look at.If you want tasty, classic American fare, in a cool environment, Temptations is the place for you!

Always a great breakfast, but decided to try the dinner, which is offered on Fridays and Saturdays . We had the Chicken Ala Pobre with mashed potatoes and veggies and the Pork Chops with the saffron rice and veggies, both topped with sauces. The dinners were incredibly delicious! Definitely will grab dinner there again.

Update: After going here a lot, nothing has changed. Very consistent quality of product. Excellent quiche and pastry items. Definitely try the Salvanas (sic?)Owners are awesome. Dinner now on Friday & Saturday nights.Great little diner type location. Their Pastries are excellent. All around a foodie type of place.

A true culinary experience in a simplistic setting. Elevated diner fare bordering gourmet. Everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. Beyond the food, one of the cleanest establishments I’ve ever dined in. The owner took a moment at the end of our meal to chat with us and share a bit of history on his restaurant. Solid dude. 10/10 recommend.

Temptations has the best burgers! My husband and I each have one once a month for lunch with a side of fries. Always delicious.
Chicken Fried Steak was awesome and plenty of food for breakfast and lunch. Now serving dinner on Friday and Saturday night, everything is fresh and yummy. Enjoy?

If I could give this zero stars, I would. This was the worst experience of my life at a restaurant . My friends and I were in town for a workshop. We needed a place where we could grab a cup of coffee and go over some things. We stopped in there, and from the moment we stepped on the premises, the owner was aggressive, unwelcoming , and treated us like he didn't want us there. We sat down and ordered light food and beverages the owner was our server and he told us he was upset we were taking up a table because he could make more money if we weren't using the table. We apologized and told him we were leaving in 20 minutes ( we'd only been there about 15 minutes if that). He never did bring us all our food items, but we paid our bill and left anyways because he was horribly rude and aggressive toward us.

This place is so welcoming. The owners are amazing individuals. We don’t come here as often as we’d like because we live so far, but when we do make the journey, Temptations Cafe never disappoints! From the decor, to the ambiance, the food, and the conversation. Their desserts are my favorite! All baked in-house from scratch and super fresh!This place makes you feel at home. 5 stars, well deserved!

Male server was extremely rude. We had a group of 6 and asked to be seated outside. He insisted he set up a table and we said it wasn’t necessary. Once done, he got extremely upset we joined just for coffee and not for food. At that point he started making snide comments and actively making us feel unwelcome.We tried engaging him, complimenting him on his shirt, and he ended up yelling at one of our ladies making her cry.Very rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable behavior.Never going back and do not recommend.

I was going to make this my regular breakfast spot with a buddy of mine on the weekend but they are trying to kick us out after a few bites into our food. I get it breakfast is fast but dropping the check 3 minutes after serving the food is a little much. This is also with 8 empty tables and a half of the counter left to fill. Thanks for your money…now get out. That is what the other reviewers mean by “efficient” service. But if you want to throw breakfast in your face and leave in 5 minutes flat and pay a Scottsdale price then this is definitely the spot for that. But not to sit and enjoy your meal.
