Food is Great don’t get me wrong but definitely over priced for bar food. Atmosphere sucks, staff’s attitude sucks, owner SUCKS!!!! Called in to place a order for pick up the owner answers all aggressive and says “ we don’t do take out” well buddy google states you do and from the looks of how empty your establishment is you may need all the business you can take. Definitely will not be back

I walked by the other day and saw it was closed. Not surprised. The owner had his dog and others running around the restaurant. While some people like this most dont. He lost a lot of money allowing dogs in his restaurant. People want to be greeted by people not dogs

We were headed here for lunch today after five of us hiked (along with our dog) to Tom's Thumb. We were starving. My husband called ahead to make sure they allowed dogs and to ensure they had availability for five of us. The guy on the phone said yes to dogs being allowed inside and out ("we don't care") and that there were only four people in there at the time. My husband then said "is the food good?" To which he responded yes and <tried> to hang up. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) the man did not successfully hang up. We heard him say to the people there "would I tell you if the food was bad?" And "leave your dog at home" and overall sounded less than pleasant to be around. Initially, we continued to listen thinking he'd realize he didn't hang up the phone and we'd let him know and that it was humorous in general. But when he continued talking about our brief conversation, we decided we would take our money elsewhere and not deal with this guy's sparkling personality.

No wonder this place was empty on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. We went to watch college football and there was 1 other person in the entire restaurant. Bartender put a beer menu in front of us and I even commented that my brand of beer was $3.55 per pint. After having what I say was a very good sandwich, the bill came and we were charged $4.55 per beer. When brought to the attention of the bartender, he replied,” I just do what I’m told”. The owner/ chef came by and said that was his price$4.55 and that” he does not pay to have us sit and drink there”! I spoke that that was very poor business practice and he shouted to never come back. Hey, DONT WORRY, your place will never survive with that attitude.

We walked in at 1:30pm on the Saturday to watch college football and get a bite to eat. There was one guy sitting at the bar. Never a good sign. The name of the joint includes "Sports Bar" but instead of hearing the exciting sounds of college football a completely bland pop rock soundtrack was playing. The kind where you cant tell one band from another. As we sat down the bartender sat a stand up menu in front of us that said domestic drafts, $3.55. We ordered a couple of Miller Lites. We had two more with our meal. When the bill came the beer charge was $4.55 per. I asked the bartender to come over and I asked him about it. He said the menu price was the Mon-Fri Happy Hour price. Then he said they had actually discontinued that promotion. I said... If that's the case then why did you hand me the menu? By this time the owner chimed in and got very aggressive. He told me to leave and never come back.Who operates this way? It was only a buck a beer. Why be dishonest? He actually blamed me, the customer, for just wanting to drink for cheap at his expense. No. I want honest representation of what I am purchasing. Who complains about $4.55 a beer? No one in No. Scottsdale. Don't try to trick people. I will take his advise. I won't be back.

If I could rate lower I would. Music sucked, way too loud, played commercials nonstop (couldn’t afford the non-commercial version of pandora?), bartender tried to not give me change so he could pocket a few extra bucks (short, chubby, goatee man). All in all, I wouldn’t go back there if I were on fire and they were only ones left with water.

I was there yesterday and ordered Cesar's salad for $6 and an addition of chicken, I was so shocked when the bill came they charged $18.00 for 4 extra pieces of chicken how ridiculous is that, the tiniest little salad and the more expensive. The restaurant is right next door to Ace Hardware and has a little water feature that seemed nice but after sitting there for a couple of minutes we saw more than 4 mice or huge rats, even one of them close to the outside fridge so disgusting since that point my appetite was gone and then I got even more upset when I received the bill for $18 extra chicken I thought was a mistake and I talk with our server but she ensures that was the price.I didn't dispute anything but not going back, ever, unless you want to hang out with a couple of rats around there and pay ridiculous prices.I have been to several restaurants that have outside patios and no sign of rats ? around. Imagine enjoying a meal and 3 rats just going by your feet. I'm sure you wouldn't like that for your customers. I'm not the only one complaining about pricing in your restaurant and the quality of your food. And checking all your answers to the different reviews, you might need to learn how to offer better customer service, and if you dotn know how to take some criticisms, maybe you are on the wrong industry.

We were shocked by how tiny the old fashions were. When we got the bill we were even more shocked by the price. Payed $42 for the smallest old fashions we've ever had! Won't be back!

From one Chef to another Chef, the food was amazing. I rarely find a spot that the food and service are outstanding, this was that place. We ordered the corn beef Rueben and Chicago beef. They both were remarkably flavorful and prepared well. The wings simply fall off the bone. My brother got them tossed in the peach bbq sauce. This is a place I will definitely return with each visit to this city.

First and foremost, thank you Doug for your service as I'm a retired veteran as well. We met last nite and I was quite enthusiastic to bring my fiancé on a date nite and ultimately disappointed! As someone that has held thereigns as an executive chef I know the "back of the house" aspect completely, so I want to make sure you realize I'm not someone that thinks he knows what he's talking about. The biggest issue I had was the ribeye steak and how it was cooked. I was told its $160 and it is enough for two people, well it turned out to be $164.95 and (my opinion) would fill one hungry person but it was explained (male) as it was huge. The reason I asked because my fiancé and I were splitting it. We ordered our steak medium this time and it came back as rare to medium rare, and when it was returned to us it looked as if was thrown on the plate, meaning the pieces we already cut off were under and around the original piece of steak. My opinion and I'm sure of others I should NOT have to send my steak back to the kitchen for doneness at that price!!! Secondly, we were charged a $5.95 split charge fee (which I find ridiculous) however, I've heard other places charge it as well. My point is, it didn't come out split in half, the steak was on one plate and the salad in a bowl. I actually did the splitting. Are you saying you're charging me to do the work of splitting the steak/salad that I'm paying you to do? Lastly, and my intention is not to be "that guy" but there was entirely way too much attention on us by various employees. I feel that where fun people we just wanted to be left alone at least until we finished our dinner. There are soooo many restaurant choices that it's inexcusable to let the little things that I've mentioned happen and ultimately go by the wayside, because you end up losing customers that you didn't realize you had.Mr. Kappus

now I know why I never see people at this place. This place is horrible. There was maybe five people in there when I arrived it took forever to get a drink The staff was rude. Totally undercooked a bison burger. It was disgusting after I sent it back and had then cook it a little longer flavor was horrible. Took 20 minutes to get my tab so I could cash out. Will never ever go there again really horrible service really horrible food. The atmosphere of the place was nice minus the service and attitude of the staff.

Wow I can’t say enough!!!Me and my son went here to end the day. We walked in and immediately greeted by everyone working. The owner was there and a awesome guy. He took the time to talk to us and ask how are day was going. The server was super attentive and very nice. Food came fast and was amazing. We had the nachos and the filet with chili and load bake potato. This is hands down a scratch restrant with quality meat!! 10 starts all the way!!!!!
