This was perhaps the worst meal we have had in the Valley and that spans over 30 years. The skirt steak was inedible..tough and chewy and virtually impossible to cut. The Caesar salad was mysteriously seasoned with something so spicy that it also was inedible. The entire meal was so bad that it didn't even merit a complaint to the staff. Not returning..ever.

The decor is amazing. The Pan Roasted Snapper was really good. However, Talia our server was dreadful. Pretty girl but she does not have the personality, energy or common sense to be a server. And I don't know who approved her to train someone else. I left no tip because it's not my job to do your job. She doesn't follow instructions well, she forgot multiple things on two different guest orders, she did not engage with us much, disappeared for extreme amounts of time. She could care less about her job and it was very noticeable when we visited on the evening of the 17th. One star for the decor, one star for the food and that's it because the service was awful.

I was a guest at the Scott Resort where the Canal Club is located. I was on my way back to the hotel and called the Canal Club to order food to go. I intended to get a sandwich and a salad and then go out and eat it outside in the beautiful weather. I was told that they did not take orders over the phone. It did not matter if I was a guest at the resort. I had to physically go to the bar and order takeout. It seemed really strange and wrong...but then sometimes there is no cure for stupid rules.....

I would highly recommend not going here. I regret going here and wish I could have spent my money somewhere else. The place is beautiful, but that’s where anything good about it ends.Our service seemed to be at the end of her rope. She didn’t say anything rude to us but seemed to be bothered by everything we said and looked like she was about to snap any second. My mom can be a bit of a character and joke with the staff, but it’s innocent. This seemed to make our server even angrier. We were also left without any one checking on us for a long time. Sometime I appreciated that, but this was a really long time. At one point our server did come to check on us and we were clearly done eating and still did not clear our plates. We were brought some boxes and it turned out we needed one more box and again our server was no where to be found. Several other employees walked by but they seemed to be stressed as hell, it was visible on their faces. My mom finally got the attention of a red haired guy, I think he’s the bartender, and he was extremely rude to her. His tone was awful like he could not even believe a customer could even be talking to him. And it still took a long time just to get one box.The food there was fine. The best thing we got was the squash pomegranate salad. The paella was disappointing and the gaucho steak was ok. The chimichuri on it was different than I expected had before and not good. We were also left with the check for a long time, we were more than ready to leave.The vibe in the bathroom was weird and I’m not sure if the staff could have done anything about it but it did add to our already bad experience.I had gone to the bathroom room in the middle of the meal and we all went as we were leaving and both times there were the same young women in there blocking the entrance and taking pictures. The bathroom is nice but it seemed like they were just hanging out in there the whole time. It made me feel weird.Phoenix has so many amazing restaurants you won’t miss anything by not going here.

I went to this place because I thought the view was very beautiful and believe me it is!The hotel lobby is very nice and the day I went there was a DJ entertaining the bar area.I originally planned to have dinner at the restaurant but apparently they only serve by reservation so I had a couple of drinks and ordered from the bar menu and it really surprised me.Everything we ordered was delicious, with good portions and good presentation.The service in general was good and so was the experience.I recommend the tacos and make a reservation ?

Well I ll start saying I am cuban and I have the filling that I was at home ,beautiful tropical decoration, I hava a cuban sandwich and was excellent, for breakfast I had french toast and scrambled eggs and coffe with almond milk just amazing with the pool views
Food was okay. Definitely good place for vibes. Not many options for vegetarians.

This was a great experience! Chef jasmine I am in love with you(I may be drunk) I’m pretty picky but tried everything and it was so good! If you haven’t done a dinner here you definitely have to come by! 11/10
