While I had a reservation it appears this location is permanently closed. Their Voicemail says they are opening on May 19th (we were there on May 21st) and there is a for lease sign in the window.

We were seated on the patio near the outside of all the tables. We had a great spot to listen to the live music which was great. His set was relaxing and perfect for a Saturday evening. We ordered a bottle of wine, the pakora and two beef tenderloin entrees. The pakora was a great nibble while enjoying our wine and music. The dinners were perfectly timed and we were never rushed. We will miss having the Herb Box at DC Ranch, but it's good to know that we can still dine there if we just drive a little further which we definitely will.

Way to think outside the box, Herb Box! I just had the most creative, delicious salad, that I'm already craving again! The Serrano Shrimp salad rivals no other shrimp salad I've ever had! The chefs here won my vote for the most innovative salad! It starts with amazing avocado toast, then crispy shrimp, cooked to perfection, then a pile of healthy greens with Serrano peppers, crispy onions, bacon and shaved fennel! This salad will blow your mind! I kid you not, there was not one piece of lettuce or any other goodies left on the plate! AWWWMazing! My daughter in law had the steak salad, which she loved as well! And we both shared the Crispy Korean Cauliflower, I had to ask the waiter if it was coated and deep fried, it was not! Another healthy hack from the amazing chefs here! This place is definitely a 5star restaurant with live music, a lovely patio, awesome service, and need I say the best food!

Thé service was generally not friendly, the food took forever and the cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable- the floors and table were sticky.

I generally do not complain, but feel I must share our Very disappointing experience at the Herb Box last weekend. We eat here often both pre and post pandemic, but we won't be going back. While the restaurant was empty, we were seated in the back room at a table for 4, when we were 5. This was the second table offered, while the first was a high top that would have required one of our party to sit outside the door while the table was inside. The table we sat in was Very cramped. We were told the larger tables were all reserved, yet no one sat at any of them the entire time we were there. Drinks were made incorrectly, sent back twice at which point the bartender came to the table and very aggressively spoke to us - made for a very uncomfortable situation. She was beyond rude towards us. Followed by learning they were out of the entree one of our party had ordered, and then the appetizers were missing some of the sauces that make them so tasty (definitely not up to past quality). Entrees were all very good, but by that point we were all very disappointed in how the night had gone.

We went for brunch & lunch the other day. My only issue is, we're not crazy about the inside, its not attractive at all. The outside is a small patio which we do like. However they don't have enough umbrellas to keep the tables in the shade so thats a big downside. And the view is really nothing. However the employees are friendly & the food is great! We will definitely go back!

Food is good as always. Had a reservation for patio but not available and was seated inside at a table in a busy area. Also there was a rather long wait at the hostess stand and the hostess didn't seem too concerned, so service could have been better. It usually is, must have been an off day.

Fantastic setting, food and service. We came across the restaurant while walking around DC Ranch and are so happy that we stopped by! Even went back a second time even though we were just in town for a few days and meant to try lots of different eateries but had to hit this again!

Arrived at 5pm, happy hour over, bright hot day, waitress refused to open umbrellas for shade. Said someone might want heaters. It was 95 degrees. Place was EMPTY, Millennial, we left.

Food was good but drastically overpriced. bowl of oatmeal was like 14 dollars. Good service, very polite, but 2 adults and 2 kids lunch wasnt worth 75 bucks. especially without any cocktails!

Really tasty lunch dishes with variety of choices. The Serrano Shrimp salad was a knock out! Fresh, healthy and delicious choices. Nice patio and service.

Innovative menu in a beautiful setting! We shared the crab dip with plantain chips, crispy shrimp salad, and salmon with quinoa entree. All were prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. Wines were reasonably priced too. Our new favorite place in DCRanch. We will be taking all our out of town guests here for dinner. Music on Saturday night was a plus. Loved it!

We have been here a number of times--it is one of our favorite area restaurants. This time, our food was not quite as good as previous visits. My sister got a dish she really liked in the past, and it was lacking this time. I got the trout dish, and ended up with a stomachache later--not sure if it was related, but just seemed like something didn't agree with me. In addition, it was a busy night, and our waitress kind of left us alone. At the end, my sister did pass along her feedback, and our waitress said, "Oh, you should have told me. We would have gotten you something else." My sister said to me afterwards, "Well, she didn't return quickly enough to check on us, so I didn't have a chance." That kind of stuff. That said, the butternut squash enchiladas (short rib enchiladas too) and to die for. And the patio area is very pleasant and lovely.

The service started off badly as we waited 20 minutes for water and silverware. The manager finally stepped in and initiated service and gave us free appetizers. All and all the food was very good.

A neighborhood favorite with enough menu changes to keep you coming back for those or the old favorites. Disappointed that you have to stand up and walk to the dessert display case to see the offerings, as we were celebrating a birthday and nothing was offered "gratis" Anyway, we passed as there were no signs or descriptions on the dessert case and no one was around to explain. A good evening, but could have been a bit better. We will give it another try.
