Great food, some of the best in Scottsdale . Fine presentation and excellent taste. Unique menu selection. Good wines and again great desserts selection and presentation. Festive ambience, a little loud and entertaining fire dancer presentation. Wanting to go back. A little expensive however!

Initially, we received excellent service & the appetizer was delish. After we ordered entrees, we essentially stopped receiving service. Everything other than the app & top cap steak was mid at best. DO NOT ORDER THE FRIES!! All the sides were bland. $450 for 2 people with just one app, one steak, 3 sides and NO ALCOHOL! We are in the restaurant industry and understand the cost of doing business but that was just unreal for what we received. Likely will not return.

Pros: Great decor and vibes Attentive service Well presented cocktails Cons: Food was a letdown. No one at our table was impressed. I'm not sure how they managed to ruin Mexican food but it was bland and just not good. Not elevated not fusion, not inspired. Just bad. Two members of our party with Latin heritage were especially shocked at how poor the food was. Neutral: Live entertainment was a fire dancer. Our guests were split on if it was a fun sexy show or if it crossed the line to sexist or exploitative.

This place is a experience that's worth it. Everything we got was delicious all the cocktails tasted great. The service was immaculate but I totally forgot my waiters name lol. Loved it here

Excellent experience. Try the Branzino style fish plate. It's the best I have ever had. Drinks are amazing. Service is outstanding. A bit noisy in the restaurant- music is loud. Overall, a fabulous experience.

We go to Toca Madera for every family celebration because of the ambiance, great food, wonderful service and just knowing we're in a special place for a special occasion!!?

Food was amazing, servers, exceptional, but the noise level in the bar area, where we were seated was so loud. I would highly recommend, but would request seating outside of the bar area.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food given the prices. I got the enchiladas and it tasted very bland :/ my husband ordered a $100 steak and asked for medium rare and it was definitely cooked medium well....very disappointing.

Very cool atmosphere! The service was okay, food was decent. I wouldn’t recommend for an intimate date, it’s more of a club/ going out setting. The food is fine dining priced, but overall just okay food. For the atmosphere and food, I would choose Roka or Dominick’s.

TLDR: Drinks, chips and salsa were good and ambiance was upbeat. Food was way too salty. Reason for the 1 star overall is solely the food. Do not recommend!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!Wow, where do I even begin. This place was extremely underwhelming. When you first walk in you are greeted by an attractive setting and ambiance that gets you excited for the rest of the offering. Came here after my fiancé kept getting this place as a recommendation as a "top restaurant" in Scottsdale, so we decided to come here on Easter Sunday, 3/31/2024. We spent a total of $285.25 with a 20% tip. We were waited on by Jordan. She was great, very knowledgeable in menu recommendations and did not forget any requests. We ordered the "No Mames" cocktail, Noble Margarita, PF margarita, guacamole, Branzino fish entrée and the Hot Rock American Wagyu with a side of Mac n' cheese, seasonal veggie (Brussel sprouts) and Mexican street corn. The corn, Brussel sprouts and the fish were extremely salty. The wagyu was underwhelming and in my opinion was a waste of money. The fish was decent after you get past the salty taste but I definitely think for what they charge, the portion and presentation was lackluster. The wagyu presentation was also lackluster. All in all, if you want a nice pregame spot for drinks and chips, you can come, but I would not recommend coming here for any formal events or special occasions and spending a lot of money, you will be left disappointed.

While visiting Scottsdale my husband made us a reservation here. I previewed the menu and became very intimidated but made a plan for what I would order.Upon entry the establishment was beautiful! We were early for our reservation so we waited outside until our table was ready. The hostess were very kind.We were seated in the bar area in extremely comfortable seating of a tufted bench with gorgeous chairs on the other side of the table. Have I mentioned how gorgeous this place was?I started with a watermelon margarita as per our server’s recommendation and it was delicious. Our table shared the queso (I recommend ordering extra tortillas!) my father in law had the lobster tacos (which are very tiny by flavorful. I had the mushroom truffle quesadillas and these were delicious!!! The sauces they were served with were so good!!! My husband had the salmon salad which I thought was very good!!! I did order us a side of cilantro lime rice which was ok, it could have been hotter. The flavors on everything were very very good!!!If you’re looking for upscale, unique flavors and a beautiful atmosphere check this place out! It is not a traditional taco spot.

Went on Easter with a group of six. It was our first time to dine there. Loved the food, the atmosphere & our server. I will definitely return. I would love to check out their Happy Hour!

My boyfriend and I’s go to birthday dinner, date night, etc. Great menu but could be updated as they’ve always had the same dishes.

Server was lovely and the hostesses were so friendly. The interior is decorated beautifully, love the use of fireplaces and fire pits. The shishito peppers and ceviche were wonderful along with the complementary chips and salsa.
