One of my Scottsdale favorites. Tasty, healthy and good portions.

Pretty decent all around. Food definitely tastes fresh, just note that the Yucatan flavor palates aren't quite as bold as foods from other regions in Mexico. Service is fairly quick and very friendly. Value is a mixed bag - some are reasonable (bowls) others feel overpriced for what you get (drinks / some appetizers). The plantain chips and guac are a must, would take those over tortilla chips any day. $70 for 3 people - decent for the area, but not a great value for counter order food. Overall, would come again, but only when visiting the mall.

As a Mexican native, I always go to Restaurants that claim to be Mexican with very low expectations. I have to say that I was impressed. Is the first Mexican restaurant in the USA that I have been to that actually got the tinga right. Very authentic flavors. Can't wait yo go back again!

It's always cold inside, but the vegan options are nice, and the food is fresh. Plus, they use real plates and silverware. Plus, their to go containers are cardboard, not Styrofoam.
Tocaya gets a B+ for food, but F for service. Corporate trainers snd supervisors need to re- teach their staff about customer service and good old- fashioned courtesy. Shameful treatment of customers!

The Baja gluten free dish tacos with that chipotle BBQ sauce are fire. The guacamole has pomegranate seeds and its just overall high quality. Get the 2 taco combo with guacamole and the non alchy strawberry basil fresca. I was a store manager at chipotle for 2 years - THIS PLACE kills them; cali vibe af lol. Youre welcome lol????Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free and vegan options but youd NEVER know they were!

I normally love tocaya and the other locations around Phoenix are fine, but this location is VERY dirty. Like scary filthy…I’m afraid to eat here after seeing how neglected the bathroom is. The kitchen is definitely questionable at this point ):
Yummy ?!
Very laid back, and quick service.I recommend the Terra tacos and the strawberry Fresca lemonade.

Still my favorite “healthy,” fast food. Had the Taco Salad today. The sauce was too strong of citrus.
